The Chargers have this history of hiring retread coaches who were known for not getting it done in the playoffs.

So it was shocking when those coaches yet again couldn't get it done in the playoffs ;p

I mean before Norv it was Marty Schottenheimer...and before that...well they couldn't win at all.

 

So that's Kendall Hunter for a 34 year old 6+million Pickett despite San Fran already being loaded at the position.... and then a premium perimeter receiver, Garcon, + a 2nd for Randall Cobb (despite the Niners having dropped a 1st rounder on AJ Jenkins to groom as their slot receiver)?

Don't agree with the notion Garcon is overpaid. Sounds like some of you haven't watched him play recently b/c he's one of the few WR free agents who actually seems to be worth his contract.

 

I thought he played very well when healthy. I think he could do wonders with Rodgers personally.

 

I agree. Monster year with Rogers. To me he looks like he's emerging as one of the league's impact receivers. I'd take him over Jennings & Bowe.

 

That foot is going to cause him problems his whole career. He damaged it further when he came back too early.
