I like the fact that at least two QB's are projected to go above our pick.

Does anyone of our Draft Nutz (gurus) value Allen over Patterson at this point?

I love Ziggy Ansah as much as anyone, maybe more, but he is NOT worthy of a 12th overall pick. The value is not there.

The track record and body of work is not enough to justify it.

Look at the mans stats. I mean, let's keep one foot in the ground here.

Ansah is a worthy pick in the LATE first.

I hope it Banks but if we know Ireland its going to be a Run support DL because he is adverse in drafting a pass rusher or another OL.

You realize we've drafted just as many CBs in rd 1 under Ireland as we have DL, right?

I'm not a guru, but I'll give my 2 cents anyway. Personally I would be ok if they took Allen over Patterson. Patterson has the higher ceiling (maybe by a fair margin), but I think Allen is a very solid WR who would fit well in the Dolphins offense. I think he's a lower risk player that should be immediate help. He may never be a legit #1 WR, but maybe you don't need one of those in this offense. That being said, at this point I think I would still take Patterson simply because I like taking chances on ability and Patterson seems to have quite a bit of that.

I could live with any of those 3 picks in those mocks. Ansah gets me the most excited, but I'm interested in finding out some more about Banks. I think Smith's days may be numbered so Banks may end up being the guy.

I meant Ireland's body of work when it comes to drafting. Biggest need is probably Corner going into the draft assuming we sign Jennings. If Banks is there it's the most logical choice but knowing Ireland we wont go with the obvious choice.

Wasn't strictly talking about round 1 because its been 2 OL, 1 QB, 1 DT/DE, 1 CB. I guess I should have been clearer on what I was saying.

I'd take Ansah at 12 and be glad he lasted long enough to get.
