Im not really sure what you want him to do to overcome it? Hes got guys in his face right away, they jam our WR's at the line, by the time they get off the press, Tanny is under pressure. There isnt much you can ask a QB to do in that case, other than not fumble?

Absolutely nothing Smith can do there better than he did. Either pressure the QB on 3rd and long or have LBs who can do something when they drop back in coverage.
