Why is Tannehill so overall unimpressive?
    Online?
    Receivers?
    Play calling?

In sick of below average qb play
    50% completion again?

Am I the only one that saw a gutsy qb get let down by his wrs today?

The throws were there, our wrs were not.

Some people here are incredible. Dude has ZERO effing help out there. Watch that last drive. He was getting helped by NO ONE. O-line no help? Check! WR no help? Check! Running back no help? Check!!

What do you want the dude to do, pull a bugs bunny? Stop it with the ridiculous comments about Tannehill. He is not perfect, and has much, much to improve. But he is NOT the problem.

The route trees at the end of the game were ESPECIALLY bad.

Marlon Moore diving killed a long TD pass. I'm still willing to give the guy another year, but we need weapons. I would not be sad if Mike Sherman got fired.

Lol based on what?He has a shot to become only the 3rd qb since the nfl went to a 16 game schedule to throw 10 or less tds while starting all 16 games.

Little talent, little natural instinct. By diving he effectively made himself drop the pass. He overshot the pass with that dive.

Overall, I thought he played about as well as could be expected against that defense.

Tough luck for Thigpen and Sean Smith on that 4th down conversion.

Just be glad we got out of their with our dignity and psyche back. Because I thought it was set up for a bloody massacre.

How much money in WR's did the skins spend this offseason? and how long has RG3's coaching staff been in place? Draft picks and money spent on players for Luck? Seahawks have WR's and TE's and a amazing run game and a fantastic defense.

How many turnovers did the Seahawks get today? Wilson only played a OK game and his team is destroying the cards. Tannehill had to throw for 400+ to just have a chance against them.

People still do not understand that Tannehill is a raw ROOKIE on a BAD team. It would be nice if he had a TE that could be a go-to target for him, but we have to keep guys in to protect more often than not.

Tannehill is far from perfect, but given the circumstances, i am encouraged at his progress and hope that we get some help on both sides of the ball.

Besides Pouncey. how many people on our offense would start for most teams?

Amen. I saw a running game that was pretty much ineffective, constant pressure, taking some hits, WR's that don't get open or make a lot of plays and a gutsy performance by RTH.

Did anyone actually think that RTH would be ahead of Luck or RGIII at this point in his career? Pretty much every analyst called him a project. Heck, he wasn't even supposed to be good enough to play right now.

We need to get him help.

It does bother me watching a bunch of other teams with rookie QB's make the playoffs over the past couple seasons. Part of it is they put winning talent around their rookie QB's. We just create more holes. Just another reason why the "Ireland is doing fine" thing is something I'm not getting on board with. Losing season followed by losing season followed by losing season....as other franchises make the leap to the playoffs is incredibly frustrating.

Hearing Dolphins fans say "Hey at least we're not the Cardinals...Chiefs...etc." is enough. Comparing ourselves to the dredges of the NFL every year is reason enough to want Ireland fired.

You should be, but judging from your thanks it seems like there's a lot of people who think that throwing the ball down the field regardless of coverage, match-up, or position of the receiver is a great idea.

The wrs who are seemingly never in position? There is no such thing as match up advantage ith our wrs. And given that thill isn't tossing picks all day he must have some grasp of coverage.

Again, it's th talent. Or the lack there of in this case.

If you look at the QB ratings of guys who played that defense, Ryan is above Ryan Fitzpatrick, Skelton, Sanchez and Russell Wilson during his slump.

He's below Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Bradford x2, Rogers, etc.

Sort of where you would expect, but we'd hope for better.

I certainly hoped to see more clutchiness.

Yeah, i think us fans have so much hope and such high expectations for Tannehill that sometimes the hate is misguided. I wish we could just all agree that this team has ALOT of issues, and when there are so many issues on the field and with the FO, you cant make judgements about the future of a players career. Tannehill isnt getting it done, but nobody is. And when you have that many problems throughout the roster i think you have to look in two places before u make determinations about a rook QB. I, for one, think Philbin is doing a good job considering what he has, but that Ireland has let him down a bit. Only Mr. Ross can make the final decision, but i think regardless of if Ireland stays or goes this regime may have to stray from the idea of building through the draft when it comes to the WR position.

sure that would be great. Fire Sherman. Then we can blame the losses on the fact that he has a new offensive coordinator who just doesn't know the strengths of our supposed Franchise QB

Jay Fiedler's success was due to having a couple of great backs and a defense that was top notch.

    But, he was successful.

    The full season he played

    16 games 11-5-0 273 450 60.7 3290 20 td 19int

we will see where Tannhill factors in, 3 games to go

    13 games 5-8-0 227 396 55.7 2709 8 td 12 int

    I liked Fiedler.

But 6 years in the playoffs and only one win to show for it. Tannehill can be more then that.

Honestly, I can't believe we are even competitive with this offense.

Edit: one win that required a 216 yd rushing day from Lamar smith if I recall.

It's just frustration. A lot of tannehills "overthrows" seem to have something to do with bess and hartline being unable to catch up to it in stride. They lack that final gear they need to track down the ball. It's heart breaking to watch.

Made only worse when Moore, the only wr fast enough to get behind a d, goes full on ******.

Bess/can catch but can't get behind anyone. Moore can get behind, but can't catch. It's brutal.
