I really was not a fan of DT last year and coming into this season. Looks to me like he has lost some weight and looks a lot more nimble. He is starting to win me over

 

Well, that last drive is a great way to end the first half for us. Hope the D can come out and get a stop early, and the offense can keep rolling for us.

You're playing good defense when Bellichick just decides to kneel. They had two timeouts and probably could have made a push for FG range if they wanted.

Think he's actually gained weight, but the good kind of weight. Before the season he said he'd put on 7lbs of muscle. Does look in better shape than last year though.

All things considered, Miam's really fortunate to be down by just 7. So many times they've shot themselves in the foot. They need a quick stop and to re-establish the run game again in the 2nd half.

Was impressed with Jonathan Martin at LT, granted he's not facing Jones or Cunningham, but it might be worth seeing if he's a long-term answer. I fear Jake Long's days in Miami are over.

Think about where this game stands if we:

- Don't flub the punt, giving them a free touchdown.

- Don't get screwed on the pick 6.

- Don't call an all out punt rush when we got a 3 and out, giving them another touchdown.

- Don't fumble, giving them great field position for the field goal.

Dolphins football, ambitious but rubbish.

To be this close with so many mistakes I don't see how they can't think they can win this one. They need to keep feeding Reggie Bush and DThomas in the second half.

 

I think they come out fired up. In reality, 5 plays are the difference in this game. The muffed punt, the missed Hartline TD, the penalties on the pick-6 and punt, and the fumble. New England's scored off each of those and Miami took 4 points off the board themselves from the Hartline miss.

 

Reggie had a good start to that final drive.
