yeah... he was blocking on a PAT with less than five minutes to go and the Pats up 34... (58 to 24)... damn shame.
Yup on the last PAT IN A BLOWOUT WIN.....good.....I dont wish for injuries but this is a minor one so I will say it again....G.O.O.D!!!!!! It wont change that head coach's thinking though.....

It's stuff like this that makes you exhale and thank goodness our star TE is still healthy. Can you imagine where we would we be without our play making target?
FML Serious blow to my fantasy team. Gronk probably the best non-QB in fantasy. Hoping he can play in the fantasy playoffs.
The point is, out of the last 10 plays, they ran it 8 times with a backup RB. Indy couldn't stop the backup running back. How many people get hurt on PATs. Rarely does that happen. It's not a consequence of running up the score. Its professional sports. If you don't like, then stop them, since that's what you're paid to do. Plus, the defense/special teams scored 21 points. High scoring increases confidence in your offense. It's not like he was running a seam route 30 yards down field for a score. C'mon man.
Eh I don't buy it nor care what sbnation thinks....... bottom line is it is a meaningless PAT...they were up over 30 points, less than 5 minutes in the game....it is a good time to bring in reserves to get them experience do just that.....but hey lucky for him it wasn't Week 17.....
i cant believe they would play Gronk in a playoff game and throw him a ball he would have to dive for. that's belichicks ego for you.
On the plus side it may cost him the SB so thats why I dont think he was pushing him.Its more likely Gronk was pushing himself convincing BB he was ready.
