Oakland Raiders are ranked 31st in rushing with a total of 690 yards rushing so Satelle is key to nothing. Donald Thomas has started 4 games and that was due to injury and oh yeah, they have a guy named Tom Brady that can make due with just about cardboard figures at offensive line. Wade Smith was out of Miami in 2005 and for good reason then, He was out of Jets also for good reason and out of Kansas City for good reason. Oh yeah, by the way, if you noticed Houston kinda has a really good QB, a running back named Foster and some not too bad receivers. We as a team have none of the above. They also have a defense that can actually defend against the pass. Hadnot ? yes, he is a Cardinal and both him and the Cardinals suck. Anymore you would like to comment on ?
Actually Samson Satele snaps footballs to Andrew Luck. Early 2009 was our best line. Dominant Jake at left tackle. Just Smiley pulling from left guard. Jake Grove the mauling center. I believe Nate Garner ended up the right guard after DT got hurt. Carey was still good at right tackle. Smiley and Grove ended up hurt.

Smiley was not half bad, when he was healthy but he was never healthy for an extended period of games.

Satale wasn't drafted by Ireland, he was drafted by Cam Cameron I believe, and Wade Smith came out in 2005 I believe. As for many of his picks still being in the league, perhaps, but how many of them have made the pro bowl and how many are considered elite players ? The goal is to win the Super Bowl, and to put together talent to reach that end. Its not to draft a bunch of guys so that they play in the league.
