    Jason Taylor-DL-Dolphins Jun. 1 - 10:40 am et

The agent for Jason Taylor says his client didn't call Sunday's press conference to announce he wants to be traded.

The agent is calling two reports, one from the Miami Herald and the other from the usually reliable South Florida Sun-Sentinel, "pure speculation." Maybe that's the case, but if Taylor is asked whether he wants to be traded Sunday, he's expected to answer yes. We'll find out for sure within the hour.

I don't think either of them said that he was calling the PC to announce his intentions.

Rather, the reports were saying that he'd speak to the media and they expected he'd answer truthfully if asked about it.

The scoop comes courtesy of, among others, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, who is shamelessly in the tank for Taylor on this one. Salguero, supposedly a “real” journalist, combines reporting with cheerleading, arguing in what appeared at first glance to be a non-opinion piece that a trade is in everyone’s bests interests and that, if Taylor isn’t traded, he’ll possibly accept an offer to appear in a movie that begins filming in October. He’d make $4.5 million, but he’d still lose $8 million in football salary. (Possibly, Salguero’s item is another example of how newspapers are assuming the writing style of blogs, in order to delay the industry’s demise.)

I have been saying this for quite awhile. You cant trust the Herald reporting which has become worse than PFT .Imagine being called out by PFT.The shame of it.:wink2:

Jason Cole started on this kick . Why be suprised ? We are talking about the high five duo
