Out of that group I'd go with Chris Johnson. As disappointing as he's been he has the most upside. Other guys might be safer, but I usually go for upside with flex plays.
Need a replacement for Brees this Sunday. We have Superstar Ryan Tannehill on roster. The homer in me wants to start him. The objective fantasy football player thinks Brandon Weeden, Kevin Kolb or Christian Ponder might be better plays. What would you guys do?
STL has been playing really well against the pass. And if the run game is working we may not lean too much on Tannehill this week. I may lean towards Kolb against Bufflo or maybe weeden vs. cincy. Cincy may very well bounce back from our game and rout them though. edit: forget all that. play ponder against Washington. They've given up the third most fantasy points to QBs, and if Griffin is hobbled they may let the Minny offense all over the field. they've been throwing to the TE in the red zone a lot, and since WASH gives up a lot to the TEs as well, that'll probably be a go-to play in red zone ponder to rudolph
Murray. Look at the success J.Charles had running the Zone Stretch against Baltimore....thats Murray's signature run. Although I really like Roberts in that spot aswell.
Alright fellas... gotta start 3.. PPR league... Arian Foster (given) Matt Forte vs DET Chris Johnson @ BUF Doug Martin vs NO
Johnson because 2 of the last 3 hes run well and had his head out of his butt. Barfalo D is about as good as bunch of Buffalo playing D. Overrated team. Forte vs Detroit would be my other play. Martin has talent but Blount is starting to get more reps in practice, gotta wonder when that carries in to games. Disclaimer: I own both Forte and CJ in different leagues but thats my honest opinion.
Who to flex... This being a points for return yardage league makes Randall Cobb appealing every week. But how much will the Rams score to give me decent value. Options.. Lloyd Cobb Alex Green Andre Brown Kendall Wright.
I think I would go with Wright (if he is fine form whatever is ailing him; I think I read about him being injured or something) or Alex Green. Cobb would be my 3rd option. I am not a fan of NE WRS/TES unless you have like 2 or 3 of them starting.
Think I'm rolling with Cobb...in our league he is the 7th highest scoring WR due to the structure. And with Jennings injured he's become a threat.
Bradshaw if he plays otherwise Nate Washington EDIT: Bradshaw is playing per Rotoworld and Kim Jones (on twitter)...Kim Jones covers the NYG for WFAN radio in NY...
Simmer down GENUIS, CJ had an incredible matchup. If your so savvy come on over to the sharps challenge thread and face me.
Okay here's one: Mike LeShoure or Doug Martin Dez Bryant or Brandon Lloyd EDIT: I also have Kenny Britt at one of my WR spots, but he hasn't really done much thus far. League is traditional scoring (non-PPR). I'm leaning towards LeShoure because Martin is facing Minnesota, and I'm leaning Lloyd over Bryant due to the hamstring injury and the fact that the Pats are playing the Rams, though he could draw Cortland Finnegan. Thoughts?
Leshoure for the reason you mentioned Bryant because the NYG secondary doesnt cover very well. They allow catches. They get picks and make sure tackles but they dont prevent completions. I wouldnt even consider Lloyd against the rams. Britt would be my #2 choice or a waiver grab.
Just found out that Jordy Nelson isn't likely to play. I had to move Julio Jones from the Flex to the WR position. Now, I have to decide if I should Shonn Greene or Greg Little as the Flex. Other options include: Donnie Avery, Chris Givens, Also for TE would you go with Marcellus Bennett, Dustin Keller, Brent Celek, or either of the Denver TEs?
I'm not thrilled about the Jordy Nelson situation. I picked up Andre Brown of the Giants for my flex spot...here goes nothin'.
I like Martellus returning to Dallas... And with the wind expected to be high Shonn Greene is likely to get plenty of opportunities...that being said he IS a Jet and I for one am proud to have zero AFC east opponents on my roster. F*** em all. Start Greg Little out of spite.
I'm debating the same thing with starting Bowe over Julio. Tough to bench such a good player though. I think we need to stick with Julio.
Hopefully it is the right decision. I know I hope it is, especially since I am playing my roommate lol
Got killed by Witten. I'm in a league with 2 points per catch. Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G using Tapatalk.
Big week... 1st place playing 2nd place. PPR league... I think I have the right lineup in but need some input fellas.
