Kind of ironic that a rookie is making so many adjustments at the line that a 14-yr vet needs to sit.
I think it will expand as time goes on but its not the typical vanilla that they often serve rookies.
while I agree that rookies typically don't have as much grasp of an offense as Tannehill, I do believe it is his rookie ability that is keeping a 14 year veteran on the bench.
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. Are you suggesting that if Tannehill was more accomplished in the offense than Sherman would feel more comfortable putting Gaffney on the field despite not knowing the playbook cold?
Yes, because Tannehill would be able to be better at adjusting. However since he is a rookie taking out as many unknown variables is a good thing.
