Gamestop sent out an email to customers with a list of every store holding a midnight launch for MGS4. The list can be found right here.

I'm a little ticked; I have to go all the way past the Pembroke Lakes Mall, when there are not one, not two, but THREE Gamestops on my side of I-75.

Meh, even though all the stores around me have midnight launches, I got my pre-order in so I don't have to worry about availability. And I wouldn't even be able to play it until Sunday anyways.

Stores have been known to sell preorders. I know a couple of people who preordered the limited edition MGS3 Subsistence bundle, only to have it sold to people who got into the store earlier.

Considering the manager is a former classmate of mine and I made the preorder through him, he's got mine in a safe place.

Yeah, that's the same one I'll have to go to. If I decide to go, I'll see you there.

im excited, dont have much experience with the series, but you guys are making it seem pretty awesome. no shot in hell the wife lets me go for a midnight launch. i'll have to wait until the next morning. but i dont anticipate issues. i have 5 bucks down, and when i went for my GTA4 this past month, that didnt even sell out around here.

Bingo. I used to go to the Gamestop in the Muvico plaza before they built a new one on Pines and Dykes, in the Costco plaza.

if i only had the time. :pity: theres a few psp games i cant consider because my playing time is so limited, and i really wanted them(the god of war and FF7 prequel). had to skip super smash bros too, despite all that positive feedback. had to skip lost odyssey.

im looking at GTA4(now), ninja gaiden 2, then mgs4. that will take me until maddens release probably.

You didn't miss much with Smash Bros and the last 3 discs of Lost Odyssey.

But you really should get familiar with MGS' backstory before you delve into 4. I think Portable Ops factors in as well--Kojima once said "Without Portable Ops, there is no MGS4."
