Sunlife Stadium 1:00 PM EST 1 PM weather forecast: 85° Scattered T-Storms FEELS LIKE: 92° HUMIDITY: 69% PRECIP: 40% WIND: ENE at 15 mph Spread: Dolphins -3.5 Injury report: Miami Dolphins Out CB Richard Marshall, back RB Daniel Thomas, concussion Questionable LB Kevin Burnett, ankle Probable RB Reggie Bush, Knee CB Nolan Carroll, Achilles S Reshad Jones, Back/heel WR Brian Hartline, Quad St. Louis Rams Out WR Danny Amendola, Shoulder LB Mario Haggan, Thigh T Rodger Saffold, Knee Questionable DT Matt Conrath, Knee DE William Hayes, Back FB Brit Miller, Ankle Probable QB Sam Bradford, Knee S Matt Daniels, Thigh DE Eugene Sims, Head ------------------------ Halftime includes induction of Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor into the ring of honor... Lamar Miller figures into this game more than ever before. With Thomas out and Bush still meh, Lamar Miller is primed to make a huge splash in what figures to be a wet game. Gaffney will also be making welcomed appearances. Should be a really interesting and fun game if weather permits. However, even if it's wet and sloppy it shouldn't dampen Miami faithful. Which could make it even more fun. There's something about rainy games with a near empty stadium that brings out the best in fans and players. I think it makes the setting more intimate and fun.
I agree Aqua, don't sleep on that kid Chris Givens either. Two 50+ yd rec's last two games. Marino used to always say it was the receiver's advantage on a wet field. Maybe that helps us against these highly touted corners...
I think Reggie needs to sit this game out. I am tired of having little set backs. We can beat the Rams without him. Reggie needs to be off the injury list before he plays before things get worse IMO Unless of course we are losing. Then by all means put him in the game! lmao
I swear to God if I get crap from anybody for losing, I will turn this thread right around misters. Of course, if we win, all hail the 'rilla...
Thank the good baby J, Daniel Thomas is out! Finally Lamar Miller ( expect mistakes and some great plays)
I didn't even think of "Mr. I'll make it as long as I'm past midfield". Hopefully, that's why a storm is a brewin...
I think Miller can handle it. I don't like his pass block skills but Tannehill is smart enough to make a move and throw on the run. We really haven't given Miller much of a chance to get in a groove since he looked good in that one game. I think it was the Raiders game. I know Reggie gives us a much better chance of winning, thats why I prefer him to sit out so he can keep giving us more chances to win for the rest of the season.
That's when you put Reggie in the game if Miller gets hurt. I am not saying to make Reggie inactive. I just wanna give Miller a chance while Reggie rests. I don't like Reggie being on the injury list every week. I know there is no structural damage to Reggie's knee, but he's just not himself with a sore knee.
I've been thinking about him ever since those Rams fans showed up. Hopefully it will be like an episode of myth busters where the outcome will be: the myth isn't true! lol
just purchased two tickets from stubhub for the lower level... i'll be there in my thomas jersey. really cannot wait hope it doesn't rain haha
Trust me, it makes it more special and memorable. I don't think it will be empty, but it might not be full if it's a downpour. Perhaps a miraculous clearing away of storms ala Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park?
Just win Baby! I grew up in St. Louis when the Cardinals were still there, they sucked, always. Still root for the baseball Cardinals, that's for life! But all my family and I have bets going for this Rams game, I can't afford for us to lose!
Can't believe the Packers are 2-3 like us. saints must be close to that too. Must mean we are Super Bowl caliber.
I read that thread that had some good ideas and some hilarious ones. but you went with your original idea? thanks for wasting everyones time. lol just kidding
Per ESPN... http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/nflpreview?gameId=321014015 That's huge IMO...What it represents
The wind today may play a factor with the passing and kicking game.It is howling pretty good this morning.
Off topic as all get out... but... con su permiso... I am going to grab this pick (not your sigpic.... Such stuff as dreams are made on... .OY! [Slaps himself on face]) for use as an avatar on another board (The War in the Pacific Board...) I kinda resemble that old geezer now... save for the pipe!.
It's breezy and damp on this quiet Sunday morning. South Florida wakes up slowly. The Sky should turn Orange soon with the sunrise, and from the Sunlife stadium crew to the Miami Dolphin players, everyone knows...we will be victorious today. -Rio
well i'm getting ready for another bashing from my buddies as soon as the broadcast begins and that thing will be half full as always
I'm not sure there are easy games in the NFL anymore. How many people had Arizona beating NE in Foxboro a few weeks ago? I'm sure fans there had that game chalked up as an easy win. St. Louis has a tough offensive line, a strong pass rush, and very effective corners. I'm sure the team is taking this game seriously, I'm hoping for some good karma from 99 and 54, whatever it takes to get the win. "Any Given Sunday..."
If we hold the rams to under 100yds rushing, that will be 20 games straight. First time for a dolphins team since the days of Zack and JT...do it!
is this really record for a team under 100 yards ? i thought it would be an individual rusher, if its the team we held under 100 yards thats pretty impressive
