***Week 4 Game Thread: Dolphins at Cardinals***

F*** that. Must get excited. This is the best QB we have had since Marino. Call me a fool, call me someone believing in fantasies, call me whatever.. His accuracy and ball placement is amazing. His velocity is amazing. His pocket awareness is amazing. All this with a developmental rookie QB that nobody wanted and mocked. Color me impressed. I'm so excited I could cry right now!!

 

About the only thing I don't like about this dominating half: We're not even up by two TDs, and when you own a game like that, that might come back and bite you in the arse.

 

Wake has what 3 sacks now?

 

where are those INT's a rookie QB always throws.
I was baffled by his statement. Tanny playing well and he is AWOL.

 

So, my thoughts so far....

Lane = Colossus from X-Men. Trust story.

Sean Smith is doing a good job of Fitzgerald so far.

Cameron Wake.... 'nough said.

 

Great 1st half! Can't believe some of you are complaining about the field goal at the end of the 1st. 6 seconds left you might have time to take a shot and get the field goal team out. In that situation, I'd rather tack on another 3 to finish the half on a positive.

 

I agree, but I didn't see him being the starter for at least another year. All the experience he is getting this season can only benefit him going forward, IMO.

 

dam I hate watching on a delay, I am biting my nails everyone else celebrating the int. LOL

 

Lane is the Juggernaut... *****

 

Wake is busting loose today and whayt a pick by Smith. He's done well against Fitzgerald too.

 

Yah if we still had a TO....then take a shot. Too much could have happened to really try it there with this offense.

Ok I was wrong. Lane is a beast. Just too much weight/strength to stop short.

very good 1st half. THill showing his poise. Just imagine him, bess, hartline, receiving TE and an alpha WR.

 

I know Shou is a diehard and never question him being a fan. Nor am I poking him, I respect his opinion just saying this is why you stay with him so that growth can come

Well, you obviously only go for a "TD or incomplete" play there. I mean, sure, you can botch the handoff or get sacked, but that's Sparano thinking

I complain about this team as much as anyone on this forum. But I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the play of the Dolphins in the first half. It certainly wasn't perfect, but the Cardinals have zero points on the board and the Dolphins have 13. That is great, as far as I am concerned.

Now lets hope the offense and defense can continue to play at this level and win the game in the second half.

How many times though have we seen where the QB gets sacked or does a dumb thing thinking their WR can punch it in and gets stopped a yard short. In Miami...........all the bloody time ;p

 

I'm not complaining. Quite the opposite: We totally dominated the game. But when you dominate a game like this, 13 points is not much of a cushion in today's NFL.

I guess you missed it when we went for it on 4th and 1 and scored a TD.

 

With a rookie QB.....it's just smart. Especially with no timeouts and the fact you got the ball after the half.

 

I can't wait for the 2nd half to be over and the AFC East to be in a 4 way tie for 1st!

 

What is with Rex saying he hasn't been run on like that before? I'm sure Miami's done at least 245 yards on him at least once before.
