hey, shouright, you shpould do a poll on how many minutes it took for that game to fall apart. lol. i have heard posters say 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, and 6 minutes. can't we all get on the same page? i always say 5 minutes because i think it was either 5 or 6 minutes, but i have only seen the game once.
Right, but it's not usually seven minutes filled with things that happen extremely rarely, such as tipped passes that go straight up in the air and land in the breadbaskets of the opposing team.
Good post. If you mean the Texans D will rank #1 in the AFC, I wouldn't disagree. But, the 49ers D might have something to say about that top overall ranking. I don't think there's a more athletic, physical defense out there right now. That LB corps they have - Ahmad Brooks, Navarro Bowman, Patrick Willis, and Aldon Smith, is ridiculous. Larry Grant could probably start for a good portion of the teams out there, and Parys Haralson is on IR. That's a lot of teeth on defense, a factor I think is lacking in Miami aside from Cameron Wake. I'd definitely be interested in Dashon Goldson next offseason. He'll be an UFA.
I'll say they looked better than I *feared*. I was glad to see Sherman is going to utilize that decent running game we have rather than perpetually throw little dump offs to Bush as a substitute. THill didn't look as good as the slight hope I had that he might, but there was enough there to be encouraged.
Call me a homer but outside of that 2 minute first half debacle, we were pushing Houston up and down the field at will. I believe we are a decent team but I also believve if Tannehill does not get his problems corrected he is always going to be just a good backup in the NFL. I also believe there isn't a FA WR out there worth the money they are asking. Gaffeny is not even ready to play yet. What we have may not be the greatest but what is available isn't nothing to write home to Momma about either. In short, I think we are a decent football team with a rookie QB, rookie HC,
