Boston Finally wins one on the road. And probably the hardest one, they did. This is going to be a 7 game series.
Yeah, I thought Detroit was going to come out guns blazing, first game at home, after taking one in Boston. Not so much.
Ginobli is on fire tonight. He has hit 6 three pointers in the first half. San Antonio is playing smart and not getting into a half court offense where L.A. can where them down and create turnovers. They are shooting shots early in the posession and not allowing L.a. to dig in and fight back. They are up by 10 at the half. Good games from Ginobli and Parker will probably mean San Antonio takes game 3. Kobe has played good but Lamar is looking like poo again and only Gasol seems to want to bring his a game alongside Kobe.
I am a big Kevin Garnett fan. Hoping he finally can get a ring with the Celtics. Would love to see a Celtic-Laker finals.
HOLY **** THAT BLOCK WAS AWESOME! My god how brutal was that! Maxiel is a beast! IF that elbow he threw is a Tech then Rips Elbow should have been a suspension. Did Rip even get fined for that?
Great hustle play by Maxiell. The Pistons are playing great, but Celtics are hanging around. If they can keep it close in the 4th, hopefully Ray will get on fire. Like Manu did last night.
No they have let ALOT go this yr. More then any year in about ten or so to my knowledge. But to some that makes the game better :cough, cough,King:
Oh I agree what my point was Rip's looked more intentional and only got a team foul Maxiels elbow was more of a push and got a T. Btw How did Stuckey thread the needle! Pistons are going to win this game, their playing such agressive defense that its bothering the C's.
Celtics are more agressive on the offensive end while Detriot is more agressive on the defensive end.
It's becoming apparent that you can watch the first 5 minutes of any game in this series, and figure out who's going to win. In every game in this series, the team that's come out of the gate fighting, and played with more aggression, has won. With these two teams fairly well-matched in talent, it's all about heart. I'll say this, though: the fact that Chauncey Billups still isn't healthy doesn't do wonders for Detroit's chances.
Yes but they still have that unsung hero in every game to pick up the slack. McDyess is an absoloute beast, the guy can still tear it up. What happened with the C's that I notice was they didn't run through KG in the 1st QT to get him going. You need to run the offense through KG. Rivers is blowing it on the bench yet again, I'm not understanding this roulette style of play where each game a new face gets playing time. This has been a great series and by far last nights game was the best offciated. I was happy to see Detriot not getting away with so many offensive fouls like the previous games.
I'll tell you I really thought Rondo finally looked like the second yr player he prob. should have been playing like all season. Putting Prince on Rondo is giving Rondo fits. They need to get Pierce the ball more and stop trying to force Allen to get involved. if he isnt a factor and you still win games then keep with what works.
jesus i can´t believe this, this must be the most lopsided officiated game ever, spurs gettin all the calls luckily LA managed a 14 point early, because the refs now have managed to tie this game up
It was a very lopsided game in terms of calls but we did get a lucky break at the end because Fisher did foul Barry. But as Shaq once put it, "One Lucky Shot Deserves Another". Spurs were the beneficiary of many calls and non-calls throughout the game (especially that one key Lakers shot that they called an airball but hit rim, which would've given us a new shot clock instead of just 2) so they got what was coming.
Not according to popovich in the post game interview on tnt. Reggie Miller, Barkley, and Kenny Smith all agreed it wasnt a foul. It was incidental contact basically. Now if Barry had jumped in to Fisher when Fisher left the floor, then hes at the line shooting three. As with any subjective call, your point of view depends on who you want to win.
I love how the press conference got oddly quiet after he agreed with the call. Its amazing how you can freeze the media like deer in headlights by not feeding into controversial calls. Or Sager asking the same exact question to EVERY single person he interviewed. Its no wonder they get so annoyed by the press sometimes.
nah i think that was a foul...barry didn't help by not moving into the contact and throw the ball at the basket...if he didn't do that and called a foul it would've been on the ground..2 foul shots, if they were in the penalty..i cant remember if they were
Hmmm wonder what the spread was on the game? LOL. Guess the refs needed the game to be closer so they win their bets...
Is KG scared to shoot? Pistons killing it from 3 point which will be the deciding factor. Also a SCALABRINE SIGHTING! He isn't in his suit he is dressed in uniform!
Kedrick Perkins= The Garbage man! Cleaning up the mess everyone makes! I love how Hamilton is crying.
