Wow.... Roberto Wallace cut.... That was the guy most hoped would step up and become a talent to overcome our WR woes. Not only does he not step up...... he so underperforms he gets cut! If he couldn't make this team with it's complete lack of talent at the position he may as well just hang up his cleats.
Oye.... Just saw Clyde Gates too. Second year with the speed he has? With the crew if lackluster athletes we have why on earth would we not keep him around to continue to develop him? Speed does not grow on trees. Don't like that move.
Sorry CR and don't imply to say one player is better than the other...but... there was this guy named Ginn and his family that wowed us with his speed for 3 years...
Point taken... having said that, they are completely different players here. Just sayin that the start of his 2nd year seems a little early to completely give up on the guy ESPECIALLY considering our lack of talent at the position. Thankfully WR talent isnt an issue in this offense and Michael Egnew is going to produce what Brandon Marshall did last year!!
i dont think they have a long time plan in mind with him, its just because Pouha is not 100% right now, he will get cut again
We seem to be hearing a lot on other teams claims. Typcial delay in information for out team. Nothing new.
Give it a rest man, only like 7 claims throughout the league have been announced. It is not just our team.
To be fair it's the norm for most teams, it's basically just the Jets who like to hit the headlines first. With hard knocks this year we can't really complain.
You do like putting me in my place don't you. Normally I just ignore such responses. But I guess you and I just sort of headbutt on occassion. So be it.
This is true, but it still isn't our team witholding information while everyone else is sending out info to all media outlets. Look at the Jaguars, they didn't announce their cuts until 11pm last night.
Surprising.. Orlando Alzugaray@BigOShow The Eagles claimed my boy B.J. Cunningham, happy for him I think the #Dolphins made a mistake on this one.
I think we picked Cunningham with McNutt still on the board, so Eagles probably preferred him in the first place. I don't see McNutt as a claim for us, for the same reason.
BenVolinPBP profile I was high on Samuda's chances from the day we signed him. Glad to see him come in, work hard and make a spot for himself on the roster.
Good point. I was stunned when we drafted BJ over McNutt for that matter. Maybe a PS signing if he clears waivers. Depending on how good a relationship he had with O'Keefe perhaps.
The Utah/Canter fellas have done well for Miami. Paul Soliai, Sean Smith, Derrick Shelby, and now Stanford. That's a nice little pipeline to South Florida (thanks Adam Engroff).
