Why keep Mastrud if Yeatmen makes the team?

I have no idea if he was talented or not. He was always injured and that is why I consistently questioned all those individuals, who stated that Murtha should be a starter, before the Dolphins opened camp.

Rumor has it Tank Carder might be cut. I always wondered if the Dolphins traded down thinking Carder would still be there and when he wasn't had to take Kaddu. Guess we'll find out.

A little surprising Anderson Russell still on the squad for now.

Also that tailback that tore us a new ******* the other night, Dunbar from Dallas? Just got cut. We don't even need a back and I'd be all over him. Over the course of a punt return and the following carry, he broke like 15 of our would-be tackle attempts.

Yea, I saw you post on twitter about the ESPN-Dallas article, and said i'd be all over him. He looked like he had a different gear than everyone, and it was short area too (like running 5 yards away from someone over 80 yds isn't as impressive as doing it within 10 yds).

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly Jeff Fuller, Marlon Moore & Rishard Matthews are attending today's practice. All but Moore are eligible for practice squad.

Aren't Moore and Matthews still on the roster?

Why not? He was fat and out of shape and throwing up all over the place. Wasn't that part of the reason the Dolphins got rid of Davis, who was a far superior athlete at his position than Jerry is at his?

Jerry got rolled up on pretty badly in the Cowboys' game. I believe based on that and his reaction to it (even though he stayed in) they are holding him out, hopefully nothing serious.

    Well away from here
4 hours left until all cuts are made.

5-6 spots left to get through, depending on whether Fuller has actually been released yet.

I don't think that's a fair representation, because as far as we know it only happened at one practice.

And as to why not, because he has some talent, and we aren't exactly deep on the OL.

If we traded Jerry for a 4th I'd possibly be ok with it, but not cutting him outright. We didn't cut Davis so it's not exactly the same situation.

Couldn't get a second round and sixth round pick for Jerry. :shifty: Jerry is the next best guard we have next to Incog. He might even be the best run blocker we have not named Jake Long.

Kind of a dick move to practice a guy if you've already made the decision to cut him, if you ask me...

I would think if you announce a player's release they are terminated from your employment at that moment.

I reckon the guys that are hanging around are hoping to get put on the practice squad. Although it looks like the only one hanging around that we know was released is Jeff Fuller.

If they have practice squad eligibility, they don't want to lose out on that chance do they?

Per NFL rules, they aren't until 9. So I am sure, with PS egilibilty being there, They want to try to impress, or continue practicing incase they are brought back.

I know I wouldnt give up on my dream that easy. I'd be strapping the helmet up, wanting to play any second I could.

Downtown disney, pool, golf, spa (for wife), water park. The best part of a disney vacation is not rushing around park to park.....it doesnt feel like a vaca if you do it like that (I have before)

So if Fuller wasn't cut yet, that leaves use with 7 WRs still, and 6 moves to make?
