9 and 7 sometimes leads to 11 and and 5 and playoff winS , sometimes not . IMO we needed a change , in direction , in coaching , in talent , in playmakers and at the GM post , just my opinion . Ireland does have a track record.

So what is going to be your reaction when they cut Matthews to try to get him on the practice squad while they are keeping a guy like Naanee?

 

Very clean offense with Devlin, no penalties and everything is just smoother.

 

I feel ya, but keep in mind, if the vision is going to change that radically there will be time in the desert, no way around it, so to get what one wanted, then complain about it in yr #1 seems a bit weak to me D22.

 

Devlin has anticipation and ball placement. Two of Moore's weaknesses. Moore is not that good of a fit in this offense.

 

One Thing I know for sure, the Dallass broadcasting crew is the absolute worst in the NFL. I wish we'd stop playing them in the preseason, so I didn't have to listen to those 3 stooges babble and their constant camera shots of the booth or sideline

 

What a difference a year makes with regard to Devlin.

i think you could make a case that devlin outplayed moore all preseason

Devlin is so natural in the WC offense. Not saying he's ever going to be a great QB, but he can be quite good in this system.

I get your point , however a change for your offensive direction doesn't really affect your defense , we have little depth in the secondary , questionable starters , our feature wr to offset trading Marshall has been shall we say iffy? we have character concerns for Vonte , now Thomas , Jerry , Hicks hasn't shown he can step in and be the answer , on and on ... you are banking on Ireland and giving him another year, two , more? I am not and would not ,just be , I don't believe in him, Peter Principle imho.
