Unless they plan on splitting him out, its more to do with his inline blocking, and being able to trust he wont get his QB killed and can actually hold a block to let a RB find space.

Pity about Messam, hope he can stick on the PS as when 100%, he can play in the league.

And keep in mind w/Steinbach's retirement that is one less cut to make.

I did not know Les was a Dolphins fan, that is pretty cool.

But, I'm sure that happens more often than you think. Players grow up rooting hard for teams, I'm sure they get drafted by that team at least once in a while.

First, Garrard isn't going anywhere. When Philbin announced Tannehill as the starter, he did so with the caveat that there would be a reevaluation when Garrard came back.

Second, Garrard is on a one year deal. It makes no sense to put him on IR. If Garrard gets the boot, he'll be a cut, not an IR stash.

yeah Thomas has been balling the last two weeks. I think he should watch video over and over again of Arian Foster. Thomas does have to be careful with that upright running style.

Thomas seems to see the backside cut much quicker than Bush, and has the much quicker feet for that move.

You did kind of word that weirdly. DT is only in his second year. He basically is the future...and the present.

Well there is only a year's experience between Miller and Gray, so calling them the future while not mentioning Thomas, leads one to the idea that Thomas isn't in the plans.

    Come on guys.

Thomas is going to be 25 during the season. Gray and Miller just turned 22 and 21 respectively.

DT is comfortable running the football now regardless of his age. Do you think we don't need a power back?
Confusing. He is a young running back.

I still stand by what I said, Deej------- that DT will prove to be a slightly lesser version of Arian Foster. Very similar backs IMO. Just as Houston's offense & blocking scheme are an outstanding fit for AF, I believe the same for DT here.
