37 points (a USA record) in 14 minutes is laughable. Even for a great scorer like Melo that's insane.

Don't get me wrong, what he did was awesome. 37 points in 14 minutes is ridiculous, even If Its against Nigeria. Olympic record and all.
However, I won't think of Mello any differently after that performance than I did before. His natural scoring ability has never been questioned. His defense and ball hogging is what he is criticized for.
If he shot like that all the damn time, nobody would complain about him being a ball hog.
Again, this is not a slight at Melo in any way, but your silence is golden comment made me chuckle.

 

I'm sure if it were Lebron it would be some epic event around here....I know, what you mean though, but I had to give the Melo sucks clan a lil needle.

Just the base of the trade. I imagine the 76ers will trade one of Vucevic, Hawes or Thad as well, most likely Vucevic because of his low salary and decent upside. I'm guessing much of the draft picks will come from Denver. Maybe Wilson Chandler or Gallinarri are included since that's a lot of 3's on their team, though maybe they want Chandler/Iggy taking over at the 2 for Afflalo.

 

I don't like the trade for Orlando. Any trade we make that has us keeping these awful contracts, is terrible.

 

Lakers would be a tough out with that lineup, although the window would be pretty small.

I personally do not think that much of LA with Dwight. I still like OKC in the west.
