Lebron James obviously needs to abandon any offense from the left wing.

A rest was called at the end of the 3rd quarter, and Lebron refused to leave the court.

    Uncoachable scumbag.

It's going to be fun when KG, Allen, and Pierce break up and the Celtics suck again.

So if we win a title and Lebron keeps this pace up, where do you guys think it ranks in terms of postseason performances all time? He has already had two of the greatest postseason games ever....at least in recent history.

The only things Lebron likes to drink more than a good Boston Ale are the tears of Boston fans and the blood of Boston Celtics.

Not trying to take away how great of a performance LeBron just gave...

...but he was something like 12 of 18 from 10 ft out. You can't really expect him to do that again, he's a very streaky shooter and has games like this - but they aren't the norm. It seemed the Celtics have done a good job of limiting Wade and forcing LeBron to beat them - mostly with jumpers. It worked last game because LeBron went off, but I'm not sure the series is suddenly over because of that performance.

I still think the Heat win - but it is amazing how much the media has over corrected from writing the Heat's eulogy to engraving the Celtics' tombstone. This has been a pretty even series and I actually thin the Celtics got what they wanted last game - just have to tip your hat to LeBron when he is hitting jumpers like that.

    Can't wait for game 7.

I haven't seen much over correcting. Everybody in the media that I've heard has been saying that game 7 is a toss up.

Well Magic Johnson already wanted to start talking about Heat-OKC immediately after the game last night and all the studio guys went from picking Boston to picking Miami in Game 7.

I think the Heat wins Game 7 in relatively easy fashion. I do believe that Wade will get going and that Bosh will get in the 10-14 point range, which assuming LBJ's typical 30, should about do it.

    LBJ-30
    Wade-25
    Bosh-14
And then Chalmers/Battier/Miller/Haslem giving you 25 combined or so

You're acting like from ten feet out is a long way. Lebron is a pretty damn good rhythm jump shooter, you don't shoot over 53% from the field without at least an above average jumper. No I don't expect him to go for 45 again, but he's averaging 30 a game in the playoffs. So between thirty and forty is kind of expected.

I do think that Miami wins game 7, but I see it as closer. I'm hoping the home calls go our way a bit more and I could see similar total production out of Lebron and Wade (Lebron less productive and Wade more productive for similar two player total) and similar production from the rest of the cast. And I expect that Boston will shoot better. So for example instead of going 1 of 14 on 3 pt shots they'll be closer to the 6 of 15 they were in game five. So those 15 extra points turns our 19 point win into a 4 point win.

Now I do think the media is rooting for an OKC/MIA match-up. That is just the best match-up from a storyline and ratings perspective. Cowherd, for example, was actively rooting for that match-up, but he also said the Miami by 8 line was ridiculous and that everybody should bet Boston plus 8. Like everybody else I've heard, he's expecting a close game.

This is more a question for someone like Section who likes to analyze the game deeper, not limited to him of course.

Is there a reason we don't run more offensive rotations with Lebron at the PG position? I know he doesn't like to be called or consider himself a PG but he is undoubtedly our best distributor and it gives us a size edge without losing athleticism really. Im not saying for whole games or long stretches, but it feels like we never go this route.

6 of 15 was really good for Boston though, particularly with 3s coming from the likes of Pietrus who isn't a great shooter.

I expect Boston will come with energy at the start but I question how much they have left, particularly Garnett. And if Garnett can't score in the mid 20's I don't see how boston gets enough to win.

An interesting aside, the Heat is 1-2 all time in home Game 7s, although the two losses were close and the 2005 ECF has the large asterisk of Wade being hurt and barely effective.

I do.....he is the greatest player in the game, and has the ability to put up 60 whenever he wants..he team needs another effort like that...Wade cant do it right now for some reason, Bosh is getting his legs back, the others on that team ehhhh screw them...it is Game 7, it is winning time...

that face he had last night was villainous, he play was murderous....see what happens when Bron turns into not what he thinks everybody wants him to be, but into instead what he is perceived to be....eff the world Bron you are better than everybody, be the "douche" and throw another 40 burger down the Boston fans throats...

in fact embrace the full villain in you and request the Heat wear the ALL BLACKS tomorrow....

I don't know if Boston will shoot better. That was the crux of Magic's argument.

The problem for Boston may not simply be an off night. It may be age finally rearing it's head after over two weeks of constant playing with only a day off between games.

Their legs looked shot. Once the legs go all those jump shots have a flat arch and start running out, and Boston shoots a LOT of jump shots. Also look how many times the Celtics got to the cylinder and couldn't finish. Another indicator of fatigue.

Not saying this is over but I see where Magic is coming from. If last night was a product of tired legs it's not going to heal by tomorrow. Will is great but physically the body can only take so much. If the Celtics are shooting on tired legs and not making a normal % of jump shots then Magic is correct an they have NO chance.
