It's hard to know what his intentions were, but winking in the end after hitting him doesn't make you look so good. He seemed pretty content hitting him in the neck.

I'm not even sure he hit his neck. It looked like he hit right on/below the collarbone and into the shoulder. It seemed to me like he was aiming for the chest. The winking was too much though.

Are we watching the same series?

Yes, Pittman should be suspended. No, Indiana is not simply playing "tough style ball".

The reason I'm not sure it was, is the way his arm went back. You have to hit someone pretty much under their armpit to make their arm flail back like that, which is right around where the collarbone is. The wink was bad, but to be fair I don't think he knew he was seriously hurt. I mean the guy landed on his damn feet!

No, I would not have elbowed him to the shoulder like that! I would have hit him square in his mouth since suspension is coming no matter what! Then I would have said........I'm Sorry

    No, we are.

The Pacers played tough basketball. You don't want to call it that but that's how I see it. So did Miami. Indiana was tougher and they did talk trash but regardless, that should not have been done.

Confirmed: we are not watching the same series.

What has Indiana done this series that fits the definition of the word tough? They foul a lot, sure. Fouling isn't being tough, at least not by itself. Trying to start fights just to look good to your teammates isn't tough. What specific behavior and actions have the Pacers engaged in that leads you to describe them as a tough team? Because I'm seeing a couple of good basketball players surrounded by a bunch of children.

I never thought I would write these words, but Roy Hibbert's efforts are going to waste in this series. He can thank the kiddies around him for that.

I wouldnt have elbowed him in the neck or face. I'd have shoulder bumped him to the ground.

You're making this into a completely different argument that has nothing to do with what I said.

I'm not implying there a team tough as nails. I meant tough as in the fouls they gave. Maybe tough was the wrong word to use. They played too physical but so did Miami.

Believe me, I know how to watch a game. I have TNT. In HD, too.

Fouling a lot is not evidence of toughness. It's just evidence of fouling a lot. It's a tactic, not a badge of honor.

Just to contrast, Mike Miller is the toughest man playing in this series.

Gotta say I agree with this. Yes, a few hard fouls are ok with me to put Indiana back in their place but the elbow at the end was extremely dirty. I don't condone that kind of foul at all. Look at what World Peace did to Harden; that wasn't acceptable and neither was Pittman's foul here.

Dexter Pittman is not only a big guy with alot of skill and a nice pickup for Riley as a draft pick, he also understands team play. Nice job Dexy.

Lance Stephenson got what he deserved. End of story. Too bad Stephenson's teeth didn't fall out and his X-ray came back positive for a broken collarbone. Dexy tried. Can't blame him. Got himself a roster spot for next year.

Now, how you finish this series, is by stepping under all their 3 point attempts, and at least gain one more injured ankle besides Granger's. I hope Lebron did the right thing and do the ole' Ray Allen move and leave his foot long enough for him to fall on it and twist his ankle.

Yes, I want injuries. As bad as they can make them. Just "playoff basketball" is what they say right?

Simple fact..their game plan was to cheap shot and foul their way onto a advantage. Well, it backfired. Time to pay it back.

The Heat actually have players worth staying healthy. Players that people care about. David West blew out his knee to finish last season. he should think about what his team is trying to do,and the control the Heat has over his career.

Thats a fact jack!!! Can't blame them because thats the only way for them to have a chance. The sad part is the league let them get this far.

From Elias: LeBron James came up two assists short of a triple-double in leading the Heat to a 115-83 win over the Pacers. James scored 30 points in Miami's victory, and tallied 10 rebounds to complement his eight assists. It was the second straight game in which James attained totals that high in each of those categories. The only other players to record a 30-10-8 performance (or better) in back-to-back games of the same NBA playoff series were Dolph Schayes and Oscar Robertson (twice). James previously did it for Cleveland against Chicago in 2010.

I don't think Haslem's foul was intentionally flagrant (I mean he didn't try to hurt him IMO), but I don't see how anyone can justify what Pittman did. That doesn't belong in the game. Even if Stephenson made a choking gesture, and was saying stuff to the Heat, it's just ****ing words. You could easily show him up by winning the series. You don't have to try and injure the guy to get back at him.

If anyone thinks the thuggery that has been happening to Haslem, Wade, and Lebron is okay, then they are just haters. Freakin Hansborough was trying to rip Dywane's head off! Then a high five from a buddy? The way the Pacers are looking at that is that if H can injure Wade, then that is a win--even if they lose H.

The Pacers learned some valuable information today. The Heat are not soft.

Steve Kerr went completely overboard on the Haslem foul and made it a much bigger deal then it was. If Haslem gets suspended then so should Hansbrough.

But I have to say, I love this. I'm not looking for guys to go out there looking to injure, but I've had just about enough from Indy and their fake tough guy act. My biggest dissapointment was that it was Hansbrough (who is just a clown) that fouled Wade and not Granger. Granger is the chippiest, dirtiest P.O.S. in this series.

But if he plays I have a message for him in Game 6. If he pulls that move on LeBron where he grabs him from behind and twists his arm like he's trying to pull it out the socket one more time, he is getting knocked out. I hope they send Howard in to simply take him out.

Because Bird saw hard basketball, not saying he was, but the era.....he knows the difference....all of the NBA now is soft point blank....flopping just didnt exist back then or you would have been dealt with even harder....same is true for the NFL, NHL and to an extent MLB....

IMO I don't think ANY of the play from ANY of the teams in ANY of these series has been "tough" or "dirty" it is the playoffs, it is expected to get chippy.....I guess I am used to a different NBA....

Hopefuly the Celts finish this off tonight, and the Heat tomorrow so we can all get to what we want to see.....

Which is money in my pocket....
