This team has until the end of May to start hitting before I kind of panic.

The team hits, they just don't advance very well.

    That was bad though.

I cant even say we hit. I think we have what two or three starters with a BA over .250?

    I still think they hit.

Man, the music here is repetitive as hell.

Really? They play the same music?

I guess I can say they hit but not consistently or at the same time.

6 runs in an inning. Wow that has to be the most we have scored all year in one frame. Plus in the bottom the 9th against a division rival? Sweet.

That was magical. I have a headache from all the crowd noise in the 9th. Whoever says people don't show to our games--**** them.

Between the Heat knocking off the Knicks, Stanton smashing the Mets, and Noo Yawkahs' general desire to live in Miami anyway… how much do you think NY hates us right now?

I say we're looking at Emperor Palpatine levels of detest.

We got Anibal Sanchez and Hanley Ramirez back. That was most defintely a great trade.

I agree. Would feel a lot better if Hanley was hitting over .300 right now though.

He's going to come around. Too talented not to.

I actually posted a very limited breakdown of his swing and what I think is causing his inconsistency here and here

Oh the plus side of things at least the Marlins sold high on Willis, who's been a train-wreck (pun intended) since he's been dealt. Which is too bad because a guy with his personality was great for the game, especially in the African American communities where baseball isn't as popular as it once was.

Off the head of my head though its one of the 4 worst trades in the past 10 years involving big time superstar players along with the Cliff Lee, Grady Sizemore and Brendan Phillips to Cleveland, Adrian Gonzalez to the Padres and Mark Teixeira to the Braves in terms of giving up a lot and getting almost zero in return. (I'm talking about trades you can actually judge fairly after all has said and done not recent trades where there's still time to judge or every single Cliff Lee trade since would be on the list).

I think either the MLB Network or ESPN showed something similar with Austin Jackson, how last year he had a big leg kick and with help from his hitting coach, he cut it down and thus was able to get to the ball quicker. It seems to be paying off so far this year, granted SSS.

Oh I know he will come around, but its just tough to watch right now because if he is hitting .300 IMO we lead the division. Also thanks for the links I'll check them out in just a bit.
