Interesting that while Bonifacio hasn't had a lot of success lately with his AVG he is still getting on base at a .331 clip. So 1 out of 3 times he comes to the plate, he reaches. Also leading the MLB in steals.

I don't get how Le Batard can be so down on Bonifacio. The guy plays well.

 

I agree. Regardless of his AVG at this point, he is getting on base one out of three plate appearances, playing solid defense and leading the MLB in steals and hasn't been caught yet.

 

Random and lame, Preston Wilson was my favorite Marlin EVER so Im glad he is part of the organization.

 

Castillo for me, but 44 was always a pro.

 

I don't know what Le Betard says but I feel Bonifacio is overrated. He had a good season for us last year but this season he has been bad at the plate.

 

When I'd go to games as a kid I always sat in center behind him. Every time during half innings he'd throw me a ball and sometimes talk a little bit with me. He's just a great guy.

 

What has dtrain been up to these days.

 

Dude could hit.

 

I feel bad for Dontrelle. One day he was amazing and the next he sucked.

 

Dontrelle is my favorite marlin ever. Slightly in front of Lowell and niner. I wore my hat like him, wore his number 35 jersey proudly (still hanging in my
Closet as the only legit marlin jersey I've owned) its so crazy to see how far he fell. I wish he would be the next Rick ankiel.

 

Has the tried converting to the bullpen/closing? Maybe he could be more successful in that role.

 

Stanton breaks/throws his bat and still hits the ball hard enough to get it into the outfield for a hit

 

Dickey has our #.

Awesome, now I get to see a rubber game (hate that term) tomorrow.

 

At least Reyes is playing better as of late.

 

What bothers me about our offense so far is that we are swinging through and taking a LOT of good pitchers to hit. Fastballs up in the zone that aren't overpowering and hanging breaking balls. Then swinging at pitches out of the zone. Its been better lately but it's kind of hard to watch.

Reyes is going to be huge in any success we have, great to see he and Stanton are warming up.

 

Looks like it's going to rain. Good thing WE HAVE A ROOF NOW.

All the PARQUEO signs on the drive in are... amusing.
