Maybe we can get Tannehills wife to do that for the Phins? I mean I've publicly stated she isn't my type, but I still would like to see that.

Houston had been playing very well.

And sweeping the Giants in their park is not common.

With this roster we should be destroying weak teams, and that's exactly what we're doing.

So I'm going to just go ahead and say it. Zambrano is back. I'm sure he will have some bad starts, everyone does, but he has been mostly LIGHTS OUT so far. A 1.98 ERA? Not to mention he should have four wins already not one.

JJ looked better tonight. His velocity is bothering me though. Yeah you can be successful at 92 MPH but the past couple seasons he was hitting 95-96-97

Also...f**k their little POS pitcher. I hope he gets an AB someday and the pitcher nails him in the temple with a 95 MPH fastball and ends his career.

Stanton should hit a HR here to redeem himself.

LOL First moment I just really loved our manager. Ryan Webb (our relief pitcher) gets an AB so in the dugout Ozzie puts his hat over his eyes and makes a swinging motion. As if to say "No way this guy gets a hit" .

Also for the record....INFANTE RELEASED THE KRAKEN!

I think Tommy Hutton would drop everything and put his dukes up if he ever crossed him in the clubhouse....he was ready to throw fisticuffs last night!!!

That was hilarious to hear, especially because Lopez was acting like a total douche. I love the part where Tommy (I think it was him) said "Lopez better watch out when they move to the AL Central, because the Rangers love to do the antlers after every hit, and you can't hit them all".

Our BA with RISP position is absolutely atrocious, but I really like what I'm seeing from this team. Right now the starting pitching and the bullpen are great, and eventually the hitting will pick up and we should have a team that can contend. Plus I think all these extra innings games will be good for the team, because they will be used to playing in tense situations.

He averaged 94 MPH last year. He's averaged about 93 over his last few starts.

He's fine. Most pitchers have a steady decrease in velocity when they get to 26-27. Nothing to be concerned about.

I'll admit due to personal issues I didn't see many Marlin games last season. I do remember however a couple seasons ago he was hitting 96+ (not sure what he averaged though) which is something he hasn't done this year.

I'm not concerned really....just wish he could hit that velocity mark still.

Funny enough, earlier in the season JJ was having velocity issues. I remember Tommy and Rich talking about how he was only topping out at 92 mph. A few starts later they said Randy Sinclair asked JJ was he wasn't doing his glove tap anymore, and JJ didn't know what he was talking about. Turns out JJ has a quirk in his windup where he quickly taps the ball against his glove before he brings the ball out. This was throwing off his mechanics and he was losing 2 mph. Now I think his biggest issue is he's trying to hard. Last night Rich and Tommy said his pace in how he pitches is much slower than he used to. It seems like everything is more deliberate and he has to think between pitches. They said that JJ spoke with Z about staying calm and cool out there.
