Baron Davis knee or the pain of Knick fans not winning a playoff game in over 4,000 days

 

this is nothing for knicks fans. the last real pain for knicks fans was watching charles smith missing 15 tip ins in a row. nothing will ever compare with that pain

 

How was it not a foul on Tyson when he pretty much knocked Wade on his ***, but it's a foul on Wade when Anthony jumps on top of him shooting

 

Section is somewhere praying the Knicks can steal this game and win his bet of a 5 game series

Congrats on the refs giving you guys a win. Sorry about the next 4000 days.

I'd like to point out who choked and who made a huge clutch play at the end of the game though. Anthony is clutch? Anthony is GARBAGE.

It would bother me if we were down by 3 games to none in the finals.

So I've read numerous people writing that Spo drew up a play and with the ball in the hand Wade decided to call his own number. I wonder if there's any truth to that?

 

I didn't get to watch so I don't know.

 

Sure seemed like Wade called his own number at the end there. Bosh seemed stunned that he was near the basket at all.

I know it doesn't mean anything, but I think it was important for the Knicks to get this "meaningless" win.

I think with a healthy Shumpert back next year. Hopefully Lin can be half of what we want/expect. Because even that is a huge upgrade over Baron Davis and Mike Bibby. Pending that and they stay relatively healthy, then I think this is a 50 win team that can avoid the Heat in the first round and possibly get to the ECF within the next two years.

It's a lot more promising to be a Knicks fan now than it has been for a looong time. Such a shame the Heat will be too tough to beat for the foreseeable future. Not to mention the Bulls will be a force as well

It was the Heat that handed the Knicks franchise the new record for playoff futility. They just didn't extend the record.

 

Lebron hit a three and then made a layup w/ a foul for his share of heroics...then Melo got a garbage call that handed him three free throws..he needed to make 2 of 3 to ice it...he missed 2 of 3. SO last play to win it or tie it, Wade ran a high screen and roll, and the Knicks blew the coverage as Bosh rolled to the rim with Fields..Amare swtiched to Wade and Wade just flat out missed Bosh for the easy dunk.

He then took the ball hard right, fumbled it..then picked it up and ran to the three point line and took a three to win it. Front rim. Knicks celebrated like they won the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup and the UFC Light Heavyweight championship all at once.

Wade did something stupid. I predicted EXACTLY what would happen in this series, and after Wednesday's beatdown I cash a fat ticket.

and yeah..I was unsure about whether I wanted Wade to hit the game winner there. I needed to cash here, and Atlanta is not doing me any favors.

 

Havent even seen higlights, but it is very odd that LBJ didnt touch the ball (from what I hear) the final possesion, especially when Wade said earlier it eas Lebrons team and he was taking a back seat. Guess those were just words.

Sweet have something to do on Wednesday.

If Wade makes the pass right away to Bosh it would have been a tie score. I was telling my friend they would shoot a 3 for the win. A little better look and maybe it goes in but I was not even pissed for some reason.....
