Yep, he came to me about 8 years ago after getting banned from one of the sites we posted at and we talked for about an hour. Then he found another place with some other poster I knew and asked me to come there now and again and to please post camp reports there for them. He wasn't doing it for himself. He was trying to help the site out thats how he was.... Dude was seriously a very good person and a family man... I'll miss him a ton.
This sucks. I cannot believe it was so fast after his last email to us. I feel bad for his family and friends. I wish he could have at least seen the first round to know who we picked. I didnt know JS personally but I enjoyed his posts, a true dolphins fan. I too am around his age and watched the Dolphins win the superbowls so I can relate to him and his posts. This truly hurts, we've lost a highly valued member of our family. At least he'll have a fantastic view of every Dolphins game. When I arrive in Heaven some day, I'll be looking him up and planning a tailcloud party for every game.
My 10 year old son wrote this letter for Jetssuck after he saw me crying and asked me what was wrong: "Memory of Jetssuck Song" (then he played a song on his professional harmonica 'Lee Oskar', and made an X___________________ 'Completed', and I signed it) Then he wrote: "Jetssuck died on 4/26/12 He was friends with many people, he saw the first man on the moon, he had a great family. He will be missed much. We will Never forget Jetssuck." I typed it just like he wrote it, all sloppy and s**t. It took me this long to be able to tell you all. We'll NEVER forget you bro...
That's both incredibly touching and hilarious at the same time. Jetsuck left behind an amazing legacy by being just an all around great person and poster but also by having one of the best and most truthful, honest and pure board names of all time. The name Jetsuck always brought a smile to my face. And even though it's sad he's gone, his name and legacy still brings the same smile and laughter. That's great your son further immortalized Jetsuck and his name with a song.
One of my fav things about JS is that he had the concept of living while you're here down to a T. Nobody knows how long they have and a lot of people take life for granted. Like Warren Zevon said, "enjoy every sandwich."
Don't RIP JS. That wasn't your nature. Stand up and raise hell for your Dolphins. That was what you always loved to do. You are missed dearly.
Could be remembered as the last week of Mark Sanchez starting for the Jets, or the week Rex Ryan ODed on Twinkies and feet.
