Yeah....you guys just pissed Lebron off. Bad idea.

 

I don't really care what they did in high school. That is a ridiculous statement. Obviously Lebron is 10000x the defender he was then and Anthony played on a MUCH BETTER Denver team. Carmello on the other hand is still the same defender he was in first grade.

Melo isn't the kind of player that has his games dictated by a single defender, he is too gifted of an offensive player. Lebron may be good enough to contain him to a small degree, but never will Melo have an off night because of a single player other than himself.

On the flip side if Melo while guarded by James in the second half scores 24, it's not because Lebron can't play defense it's because Melo is Melo.

But I've said it before, I don't see him leading a team to an NBA title, ever.

 

The other L is for loser, which is what CarmelLo is and will always be. He's a gigantic Iverson.

 

Except that Carmelo has a hard time getting motivated for the other 47 minutes, nor does he play defense. The guy simply wants HIS and the outcome of the game is secondary.

He's the most non-superstar superstar in the league. It's no coincidence the Nuggets are a better team without him.

 

My obvious Knick hate aside, this is the intelligent thing I would say if not clouded by hate.

Get out of here with that nonsense. Iverson was a winner on the court. Played every game like it was his last. At least attempted to play defense. Carmelo does neither. Nor will he ever carry a team to the finals by himself, literally, like Iverson did.
