Celtics are playing some rather undisciplined defense; lots of fouls. That's keeping Detroit in this game.

Because they have this thing in the NBA that they call fouls. And it is a good thing when you get the other teams front line in foul trouble. I think they make you shoot free throws or something and you get like 1 point for each. KG is a *****.
No he is just like 95% of NBA players that don't like contact. KG was never built to overpower in the post, Dwight Howard has the body structure to post up defenders, KG does not. Btw there is no reason to resort to name calling.
Wow way to go Rip I haven't seen a Elbow thrown at KG since Anthony Peeler did it back in the 04 playoffs.
He is usually really good about it, but if its his teammate he usually loses it. If KG and Pierce both play like that all series C's in 6. Once again though Ray Allen continue to suck, the guy had more wide open looks in this game than the previous 14 games.

Damn, I thought Game 1 was Detroit's best chance to take a game in Boston. But where I thought the Celtics would be exhausted from a grueling 7 game series, the Pistons actually looked rusty from the time off. (I don't know if that's why they played like that or not, but they sure looked rusty and out of sync.) Too many turnovers, especially in transition. Guys, transition is supposed to get you EASY baskets!
you know for me, this final 4 sucks... i have NO team i want to win, and when you have no one to root for it kinda sucks... i dont want Boston to win because im sick of Boston fans and they are the biggest *******s when they win something... I dont want the Lakers because their fans are just as smug and arrogant as Celtic fans, especially when it comes to Kobe jesus Bryant... the Spurs are just ehhh, who wants to see them win again, same with the Pistons... why couldn't the Cavs pull out that game 7, give me a team to root for, booooo
I love how fans of winning franchises (like the Celtics and Lakers) are considered smug because they root for a team that wins. Its not our fault you root for loser teams. Jealousy is an ugly thing.
That is just not true. In fact...name me ONE good Power Forward in the NBA that actually plays like KG. As for "name calling"....saying KG is a ***** is a description of his game. It isn't name calling. Who are you anyway? His mother?

I never said that he sucks. He is just soft. If he did the "little" things like draw fouls down the stretch and look for position in the lane down the stretch...Boston would never lose.

No its not, not at all. He has proven that he doesnt want that kind of responsibility on his shoulders, and with PP and Allen on the court he shouldn't have to anyways. Personally I cant beleive how much Allen has dissapeared in the playoffs, baffleing.

Dirk, Sheed, Bosh, Odom. They all prefer to shoot the jumper than post up, granted they will post up sometimes but they all prefer to shoot. Yeah I guess he is a ***** I mean look what his game is doing to opposing defenders
Have you not seen Odom's game at all? The guy drives to the basket, he rarely shoots jumpers unless the shot clock is down to 6 and less.
Btw what happens to Rip for the Elbow thrown? Now it was severe like Peelers but you think its a 1 game suspension or fine? I believe it will be a fine because it was out of frustration, he couldn't get through KG's screen so he just shot out an elbow.

KG is not that type of player though, he is capable of it but he has never been the guy to truly take the last shot. KG is a great 3 QTs guy he just needs some like a Paul Pierce to take over the 4th. Thats why I keep syaing Iverson in Minnesota made the most since.
Oddly enough, I find myself agreeing with Charles Barkley. I think L.A., even down by eight going into the second half, isn't in a bad spot. Kobe has only taken 3 shots (by choice) and they seem to be playing the proper areas on defense. San ANtonio played a great first half and they may very well win this game, but I wouldn't bet against Kobe and L.A. in the second half. Once Kobe starts driving to the hoop and getting ot the line, S.A. will be in trouble. Fun first half. EDIT: Ok, NOW you can bet against L.A. in this game. Horrid start to the third quarter. Four minutes in and they have yet to score. They are driving the lane and just waiting to get bailed out and refuse to finish. Ugh, horrible.
Tie game after being down by 20 in the late 3rd. Wow. Kobe has been amazing in the second half. Should be an exciting last 3 minutes!
Did anyone see when Gasol and Manu both went for the ball and Gasol slid into that guys lap and Gasol started to rub his head in the guys lap I was laughing my *** off.
