I used to have one, but it RRoD on me during Oblivion. So now, what should i get? I hate first person shooters and anime. Not a big fan of sports games either. I got Arkham City with it. So here's my list, what I should I add/subtract etc. - Mass Effect 1-3 - Fallout - Skyrim - AC (which ones?)
Dark Souls is the best damn action/RPG for the xbox360 and it can be had for about 34 dollars after that I'd go with Skyrim. Assassins Creed one is good but dated because it was one of the early 360 games. If you want the full story you should start there. I think its about 7 dollars new. Fallout is not a game I recommend due to the game mechanics and lots of bugs. Red Dead Redpemtion is another great action/adventure game.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a great open-world RPG with excellent fluid combat. I highly recommend it.
I loved mass effect 1 and 2. Have 3 but haven't really gotten into it yet. Fallout 3 is a great RPG-- new vegas is not as good, buggier Dragon Age I liked, but it's a lot of character development and inventory stuff, if you like that Dark souls is fantastic, but hard as hell, and good if you like pVp-ing Borderlands Bioshock Enslaved- not very popular but quite fun the Batman games
Pennphinfan had a very solid list, but I'll add my thoughts: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a post apocalypse game. A nice combination of platform gaming (climbing and jumping), combat, and character development. You should be able to get a used copy for $20 or so. Alan Wake. It is very linear, but has tons of atmosphere and you'll never look at flashlights the same again. You can also find this used for cheap.
Borderlands (GOTY edition) Castle Crashers (xbox arcade game) Deus Ex: Human Revolution I personally liked all the Assassin's Creeds, but AC2 and Brotherhood may be the best two.

have you played it? my desktop can't handle it, but I hear they made changes to make this one more of an xbox ready game, as opposed to a PC game just ported to the xbox. I've also read nothing but glowing reviews of it. People stated it's hands down the best RPG they've ever played. I'm not ready to jump to conclusions but to make that statement it's gotta be at least pretty good I'd think..
I started playing it on PC (it looks great), and it was fun, but I ended up getting a deal (free) on the 1st game so I put the 2nd on the shelf for a while.
No I haven't unfortunately . I plan on getting the game this June however when I finally have some xbox time. I've heard it runs great on the XBOX though.
Not really. It helps obviously, but they give you a prologue that tells you little of the backstory. You could always read the story of the first game on the wiki as well to get an idea.

It was an incredible game. I played the PC version, but I imagine the 360 version will be just as good aside from the great PC graphics.
