I couldn't care less about Egnew's blocking ability. He was drafted to catch passes down the middle and score TD's.
WTF is this "Biggest Retailers" that is going Bankrupt that is advertised every weekend? What store is it and why are they hiding the name?
Yup... I am interested in seeing who they take with their first pick in this years draft, though. I have a co-worker who is a huge Raiders fan and is already *****ing about having to come to miami yet again... and was even more pissed when the NFL moved the game to 1pm because of a holiday he had never heard of. *chuckles*
Tannehill and Egnew have me giddy. Franchise QB and a big, tall, fast TE who will be a huge threat. Martin and Oliver are nice picks as well.
You can please some of the people some of the time, you can please part of the people part of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time. As we've learned on here some people you can never please anytime.
I am guessing you are referring to my post? If so, it's Rosh Hashanah the jewish new year. If I remember correctly it falls on September 17th through the 19th this year. EDIT: never mind, my bad... I didn't see the other posts when I responded to yours. Since I quoted you, I thought you were responding to my post.. my bad.
I figured as much after I updated the thread after my post. I edited mine while you were responding to it.
We needed to fix the O-Line- Hopefully we have the proper players to accomplish that. Alot of Passrushers in our Division.
Martin is a potential NFL LT that we'll have at RT. With the Bills, Jets, and Pats moves this off-season, Martin is a GREAT pick.
Outside of taking Tavon...Pats have had a good draft. Really like Bequette. Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G using Tapatalk.
Here is Scouts Inc list of WRs still out there Joe Adams WR Arkansas Chris Givens WR W Forest Nick Toon WR Wisconsin Keshawn Martin WR Mich St Marv Jones WR California Marvin Mcnutt WR Iowa Jarius Wright WR Arkansas Tommy Streeter WR Miami Danny Coale WR Va Tech Lavon Brazill WR Ohio Rishard Matthews WR Nevada Juron Criner WR Arizona Dwight Jones WR UNC Travis Benjamin WR Miami B.j. Cunningham WR Mich St
I agree, having Martin with the ability to move to LT if Long has issues again is a plus. Murtha can hopefully do a better job than Columbo if the need arises.
Plenty of talent most of us would have picked in the 3rd round, and it will be there in the 4th. Gotta say, well played Irish, well played.
See, IMO, with talent like that left going into the 4th, I think it would have been a travesty to take a WR sooner.
I like the Engew pick, I dislike letting the WR position be ignored in a WR class like this. Sanu probably would of came in and became our instant #1. Yes a 3rd round pick. His ability after the catch is perfect for the WCO. I would of been ecstatic with this draft had we went Sanu instead of Vernon, and still picked Engew. I dislike the Vernon pick. This is classic over drafting based on needs IMO.
