I never really liked this *******, and now he is dissing the Phins for celebrating. no class whatsoever, a moronic, insecure, self-promoting jackass the less class a guy has, the more likely it seems he will get a job on TV I wish him nothing but horrible things
I mean you said "i wish nothing but horrible things for him" but I mean come on, thats a little harsh. If like his dog dies or something, you're going to be like "well, he deserved it, he doesnt think the Dolphins should've celebrated their win. shame on him".
my bad, he is a superb human being people should strive to be like him, physically talented and vapid Greg Camarillo should be ashamed for celebrating, his 4.6 forty yard dash, average athleticism and Stanford degree. Greg is a loser for celebrating a win and should be humilated on the NFL network by a winner like Deion.
Im not saying agree with him, but that doesnt make him the worst person in the world because hes a not a Dolphin fan and he doesnt think teams that only have one win should celebrate. The guy is paid to have an opinion, even if its a stupid and irrational one. Come on man, its Deion Freakin' Sanders, what do you expect?
I can't help but be disappointed that we can't have thoughtful football people on the NFL network. its the greatest sport by far, it doesn't need ****bags to be interesting. I am stupid for even watching NFL Access, I gotta put it back on Tivo so that I can edit out the crap. other than Schefter, there is little that this turd has to offer. you watch Wilcots, Sharpe and Baldinger and you would think they came from another network
Honestly he's right. We celebrated a win and we were 0-13 going into the game. Keep everything in context, WE WON ONE GAME OUT OF 14. NO ONE IS OUT OF THE DOG HOUSE...WE STILL STINK! However, I'm excited for next year
Sanders has actually mellowed with age, and though he's sanded off alot of the loose splinters, he maintains his edgy persona. He better, because its precisely why he's on the show, and precisely what the Network is paying him, to deliver. He's all about game, and no respect, or rather providing no more respect, than what is otherwise due. I expect he saw the highlights of the game, the hugs, and tears, and felt it a little over the top for the national audience to consume, and respective to the demographics, provided some appropriate balance to the pool of opinion. Their comments nevertheless all remained lighthearted, basicallly tongue and cheek quips, the overwhelming and underlying comical truth being, no dolphin or dolphan, coulda gave a flying _ _ _ _ , what anybody else thought. The win was OUR Superbowl, we knew it, Eisen knew it, Deion knew it, and everybody watching knew it, and more comical still was the fact, some with likely a bit of envy.
loved dieon as a player. there've been few players that have been as much a difference-maker as he was to his teams. but i do wish it were possible that someone could pay him enough to shut up in his retirement.
Is this news to you? ESPN loves obnoxious characters like Deion. While what he said is correct it was rather unneccessary, and a bit prickish, but that's what ESPN pays him for.. what can ya do.. I won't lose any sleep over what he or anybody else at ESPN says.
Deion is talking about class and celebrating he is the captin of being the person with no class and what were all those touchdown celebrations deion.
Primetime works for the NFL network, not ESPN. But same thing applys. Look, it is what it is. He's won multiple championships in his career, he's been to the top. He views things differently. And lets not forget who the last team #21 played for.
ah i miss these post------- insert name of guy who said something negative about the fins and insert the i never liked him or i have lost all respect for him. it should actually be a standard form post you can select on here and all you have to do is put in their names a lot of people were making fun of us for that.I don't think we did anything any other team would have done winning on a play like that in overtime especially after coming from behind all game. The owner crying-well how can anyone say that was too much when they don't know what he was feeling or going through. Unless your a dolphin or a dolphin fan you wont understand it.I did see a few guys say congratulations and it seemed sincere.
He's a little partial to the Ravens that's why he said that. Who cares? I always enjoyed watching Deion play football and baseball. We all know he has a big mouth.
I like the posts talking about how educated and knowledgeable someone is who has just praised the fins. Then inevitably someone will point out that said person just blasted them or said something idiotic a few weeks before.
Deion is part Raven at heart, since he used to play for them so no surprise there. Yeah, he could be a little more sympathetic but we're talking about Deion here...
yeah what he said was maybe a little wrong but he was just trying to be funny i mean wow it was like we won the superbowl i was running and screaming too. what he said was nothing rude he really understands why we celebrated he was just trying to make the other nfl team fans laugh. if we were 11-5 and the jets just one thier first of the year we would love it.
sanders is always on t.o's jock. i personally can't stand a player like T.O. selfish me first he only cares about his own personal glorification .
Yea, he's really been selfish and outspoken this year Personally, I love listening to Deion. He's never going to lose his swagger or ego but he is funny and does give insight in alot of the things he said. I seriously doubt Deion was the only one that made a remark about it. We ARE 1-13 and completely understandable if people mock Miami for celebrating that.
Two things that need to be said, I don't care what anybody says, the game was back and forth, a few times I thought we had lost it, and we had lost 16 in a row, and being 3rd and 8, and just praying for a first down, to win the game like that, in that dramatic fashion, I don't care what that prick says(and he is a prick) or anybody else for that matter, it was incredibly exciting when that play happened, and they should have celebrated. We are not saying were super bowl material, but we won a freaking game, and were celebrating- if you don't like it-turn the channel Deion. Second thing, on Deion- he was "drafted" by the Falcons, and he was a very good player, but he did not make that team a winner, and I can personally remember him coming here to Buffalo ( unfortuneately I live here), and get pounded by the Bills, but late in the game, when it was already over, return a punt for a touchdown, and showboat down the sideline. What are we supposed to think of that Deion? Also, the part of him being a champion is ridiculous, he could not win with the Falcons, so he wet to teams that were already very good or championship teams, and became a champion that way, not the most dificult task for any all-star player-he is an idiot.
I'm just slightly confused, are we supposed to take anything away from him for not turning the falcons into a winner? 24 ints in his stint there and 10 total touchdowns, maybe it wasn't his fault they couldn't win? As for going to "already championship" teams. I can't blame him for wanting to win. Isn't that the point of playing in the NFL? Winning championships? It isn't like he signed on to those teams and half assed and road the coat-tails of everyone else to win his championships. He established himself as arguably the greatest coverage cornerback to ever play the game, not to mention his explosive returning ability.
I was making the point number 1 that he is the pot calling the kettle black-thats number one, number two- he was refferred to as a champion. I do not like the way he became a "champion" ok? His version of being a champion included selling his services to the highest bidder at a championship caliber team-ok? To me, a real champion would stay with his original team and try to form it into a championship team, ANYBODY with the right talent can join a winning/ championship team- not a huge accomplishment in my book. No need to post his stats here, any football fan with a pulse knows he was a great player, and this IS a Miami Dolphin fan site right? Or have I wandered into a Deion Sanders fan forum again?
Actually, he went to the Cowboys because he was very good friends with Irvin, not because of how much he was being paid. Deion even said there were teams that offered him more than the Cowboys did. Also, by what you're saying. Randy Moss will never be a champion, Junior Seau will never be a champion etc. Deion stayed in Atlanta for 5 years and they didn't make it anywhere, only rare cases do players stay in an organization that constantly loses and as seen in Jason Taylor winning is all that matters.
I may be wrong, and I do not mean to pick on you, but you are right- most people today think that way- I will do my best to make sure my kids do not. You should always do your best to win- no question, but I believe loyalty should be way up there, and it is not. Randy Moss is probably the most talented receiver I have ever seen, but this guy is a cancer, talk about crumble down- what happens to Randy when things don't go his way? Ever hear of the saying "everyone can be a captain when sailing smooth seas"? Your belief that a person like he should be called a champion is a clue to me that I am fighting a losing battle to you. Can I ask one more question- are you a Yankee fan?
I never said that I think Randy should be a champion, but he will be. That's what I am saying. Regardless of how they are off the field, which makes no difference to me, I have no problem calling someone a champion if they do win. If we had a team full of extremely talented players from other teams, I don't think any of us would have a problem calling them champions. I think you just have something against Deion which is making you think the way you do. No I'm not I HATE the Yankees, I'm a Cubs fan.
wait till they start loosing the true *****TO will come out he is a good player but a spoiled ignorant individual
its just like all these NFL analysts, when theyre asked "do u think the Patriots are cheating?", they say "not at all". what do u expect them to say????? "oh yes i think they are" over National TV?? its their job to say "no not at all". but im sure most are like "those damn patsies, forget them!"
i guess he was right, but most ppl have something against the fins and most networks suck in that regard
