The fact that they traded back proves Boomer's point. They value 2nd round wide receivers so they traded down into the 2nd round to take Nelson.

I really don't see how what Green Bay valued transfers to what Philbin values.

In Green Bay I'm sure the staff knew what kind of players he needed in his offense, and he had input, but I doubt he had all that much input on who they drafted and where. For one he didn't need to worry about the defensive side of the ball at all which impacts where you take each player. For instance what if he WANTED a WR in the first but the rest of the staff (GM and HC) saw a pressing need on defense and took a defensive player in the first. Then in the second another WR on their board was still there.

Anyone who thinks we are building a replica of the Packers I feel is sadly mistaken. I'm sure Philbin has his own vision for this team and while some things might be similar perhaps he has something brand new in mind offensively.

    Todd, seriously, grow up mate.

Nelson was a 2nd round pick.

This labouring of a non point highlights the fact you have absolutely no argument whatsoever.

    None.

agree completely with Boomer & might add in a general sort of way:

same old ups & downs that go around & around, nowhere fast
I think Ice Hockey & Soccer are good sports, always loved boxing

there is life beyond this perennial loser Dolphin Franchise
think I'll take a break & check back in @ the beginning of pre-season

the only thing more ridiculous than watching this garbage strewn about the street is playing in it.
I have reached the point with the dolphins that they will have to show me something to regain my attentions

it's all just become too ugly to bear, thank God Marshall got out, all the guy ever wanted to do is win
