typical. seems like our castoffs are usually so pathetic, they never get picked up.

We should trade him to Spielman and the Vikings for the #3 overall... Remember how we got shanked by the Vikings and threw away a draft pick to trade up for Carey? Another example of our ineptitude

Maybe we re-sign VernCarey at vet minimum for a decent backup.

Agreed 100%. Vern was really good for us for years on the field. And he was a saint off the field.

    Stop hating.

I like to think we're better than this.

He was a good player for us and we probably would have been better served keeping him at tackle last year. Seems his body is breaking down a bit now. Happens to all of them eventually.

For a guy battling injuries and playing a new position at age 30, I thought he did fairly well last year.

    He'll land somewhere.

TBH, I'd take Vern C over Hicks, I thought it took him half a yr to learn RG again, but once he did he managed to settle in and play fairly well.

And I agree with those who are not happy with the personal disrespect for him, he was nothing but classy during his time in Miami, I never read about him complaining, he was great in the community, you can not like his game but still like the man fellas.
