Why don't we just let Ireland go ahead and make his moves. He either improves things or he screws the pooch. If things are better then there is a light at the end of the tunnel, if things are the same or worse maybe Ross finally has a reality check and he dumps Ireland. I won't bother with the "oh, I hope I'm wrong" nonsense, as I don't believe I am wrong about this, Ireland is not going to add a playmaker, Ireland is going to carry cap money forward into 2012 same as he did in 2011. And I did not want Winston as he was over priced imo, however we lost our #1 Wr, for better or worse and I have a tough time believing some roster hangers on for 2 yrs in Wallace and Moore are suddenly going to turn into Miles Austin and Victor Cruz.
I hope we sign Winston, I wanted us to draft him back in the days. We might find out what we have in Wallace & Moore this year with Philbin since they were barely used during the Sparano Era.
He was pretty upfront about wanting a huge deal so I'm assuming they paid the best. Would of prob been tough to get Winston along w/Flynn and anyone else.
