Teams will get opportunity to match any bids on their tagged/tendered players on March 4th at 12:01AM EST (well, any time on March 4th really... preferably before March 5th)... bidding goes on a full 24 hours and the highest bid is the one that the tagged/tendered player's team GM can choose to match the highest bid or accept compensation (or none, if he is transition tagged). If you choose to match, the player will go on your roster at the matched bid amount, not the original tag amount.
If you say you choose not to match it does anything change or does it have to go the allotted time limit?
I have a question. It's kind of stupid but this is confusing me. Does the bid for the players start at the amount the tag is at, or does it start from 300k?
