If you needed any more evidence that Derrick Rose is an *******...

then I am gonna provide it.

    Tonight...Bulls lead 99-95 with 4 second left.

United center had a promotion that everybody in attendance got a free Big Mac if the Bulls scored 100 in a win.

Rose gets fouled with 4 seconds left.

    He misses the first.

    He misses the second.

    Hornets run out clock.

    What an *******.

Did you consult with your Front Office, and your coach? Do you have the next two years guaranteed on your contract?

Ours is a Free Taco at Taco Bell if the Heat's opponent misses BOTH free throws at anytime in the second half.

We've had a **** load of promotions this year. Anything to get asses in the seats I guess, can't complain though. Just recently gave away pieces of the court that Wilt scored 100 on.

    That gives me an idea.

    Okay guys..have at it...

Promotions the Knicks can do: (I have a few)

    1. "Call defensive signals" for the Knicks night. (one lucky fan gets to organize the Knicks defense that night)
    2. JR Smith efficiency night. (If JR Smith takes less than 10 shots and shoots efficiently, while filling the boxscore, everybody gets a $1,000,000 in Twenty Dollar Bills)
    3. Amare Stoudemire pre-mature celebration night. (If Amare makes a nice play and makes a huge deal of it early in the game, but then proceeds to get dominated, everybody gets a NBA handbook on the Amnesty Clause)

While you are right in theory, I take Section's sources as legit because they havent been wrong yet. Whoever his sources are, theyre doing a hell of a job. They nailed the Miami trio, they nailed Melo to NY long before anyone else. Therefore if Section's source says it, Im going to go with it.

Landry plays a passive game in the halfcourt. He needs to be on a team that plays up and down.

Duncetoni should be shot anyway. He coaches as dumb as he sounds.

Reporter: "Why'd you lose the game?'
Coach: "Cause the other team scored uh, more points then uh, we did, ya know. You, uh, just cant win like that, uh, in this league"

You can sit behind the NYK bench though if you dont believe me...just find 12,500 in your couch.

Everytime you question where are struggling its almost always the same answer: http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=en&...tart=0&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:8,s:0&tx=62&ty=60

Means nothing. Even Screamin A Smith nailed those moves. Not that that matters since those are completely independent issues from the individual medical cases of people who've had knee surgery.

Yeah but will that really attract fans? I mean those ladies have to be either 80-90 or dead. I mean do you really want a dead chick for your promotional gift? Although I suppose thats not much different then getting a free taco from taco bell since both a dead body and taco bell meat probably consist from the same thing. :)

1 isnt really fair. Theyre giving up a respectable 93-94PPG. Woodson has done ok.
3 isnt really fair either since the amnesty clause would never be used on a player of Stoudemire's caliber.

Screamin' Steven A had them after Sections source. I was listening to Steven A regularly that whole summer and he never once said it until after whoever Section's source is mentioned it to section. It wasnt particularly close either. I would bet that Sections source is either a player, agent or GM. Hes been THAT spot on.

This may be true although it doesn't matter. Again a completely different issue than his bogus claim that knee surgery is the same as an oil change

    Speaking of my "sources"...

I mentioned this on Twitter today...

Somebody with a very well informed opinion, that is usually pretty good with these "predictions"..thinks that D12 and Deron Williams both end up in New Jersey.

I disagree with him on Deron, unless D12 gets traded before the deadline to NJ. There is too much smoke that suggests that Deron Williams is a done deal to Dallas. But it is interesting that we could have a very real natural NBA rivalry brewing inside of New York.

There is a trade coming for the Lakers within a few days. Not sure if it is big in nature, or small, but a trade and/or signing is happening. Reports are coming out that the Lakers are wearing out phone lines of other GMs as well as other reports of Kupchak and Morey in intense conversations at the All-Star Break.

My guess is Pau is still going to Houston in some sort of three team deal. Speculate all you want about the third team.

Lots of scuttlebutt about Ramon Sessions and Michael Beasley headed to L.A. too. I like Sessions...no idea if I even have an opinion on Beasley, other than that I suppose he is better than what we would have if Pau does, in fact, get shipped out.

Also...supposedly Rasheed Wallace is trying to get himself a paycheck form the Lakers.

Bottom line is that there seems to be an awful lot of movement around them right now, which leads me to believe that something is brewing...or attempting to brew, as it were. Nothing happens until D12's situation is cleared up though.

I tend to think that Deron and Howard end up in Dallas this offseason, but that's just me.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Rajon Rondo is moved.

Deron and Howard in Dallas is impossible as of now. if they managed to pull off a miracle to find everybody to take their bad contracts, they would still have almost 30 million in contracts committed for next season. Basically, no cap room for two max guys. Dirk just makes too much.

I think Rajon Rondo could end up in LA if the Lakers trade Pau for him. Rondo/Bass for Pau is a good trade for both teams.

And for heat promotions, heat fans get to guess how many bounces Allan Houston's runner in the lane took before it dropped in. The winner gets a blindfold before its played over and over throughout the length of a heat game.

Yeah, I've heard the Pau for Rondo/Bass trade rumor. As a Lakers fan, I would do it in a heartbeat. I love Pau, but if you can get a VERY GOOD point guard to pair with Kobe and Brandon Bass to boot, you do it. It also gives you your main trading asset to send to Orlando if they decide they want Bynum. Rondo, Kobe and Howard works for me as a Lakers fan.

I just don't see what Boston gets out of it as Pau outclasses Bass, but leaves them with a fairly gaping hole at PG. Unless, of course, they are somehow able to make a run at Deron in the offseason, but I doubt that's possible.

The problem is that big is an old Pau Gasol. They could do much better for Rondo, or just keep him and build around him and get rid of everyone else.

Was a nice cheap shot. Knicks playoff drought goes on what 10 seasons? LeBron his numerous big shots just last year. So easy on the revisionist history Skip Bayless.

I'm not killing either team and like when both teams are good so don't look at me like a Heat homer or Knicks hater.....just trying to state the facts.

Not sure how that proves he hasn't hit a big shot lately. Been less than a year since he put on a classic performance of clutch basketball in playoffs. Nowhere near 3000 games by my count  Certainly he was more clutch than Derrick Rose or Kobe Bryant in last year's playoffs.

First of all Kobe has nothing left to prove. He's ahead 5-0 by my count.
Second of all, we aren't talking about Derrick Rose. We're talking about LeBron James for the one millionth time. And how he does not hit big shots at big moments of playoff games or maybe more specifically finals games and now all star games.

And there is no denying that he sucked by his own standards or even the standards of JJ Barea in the 4th quarter of last years NBA Finals. Say it with me now: Lebron was outplayed by JJ Barea in the 4th quarter of finals games last year. The same JJ Barea who 3/4ths of NBA fans had no idea who he was.
