I think it's an excellent position for me. I figure if Mario Williams is transitioned I don't give anything up. Could you imagine getting Mario Williams and still having three 1sts and a 3rd. Then because we have the Bears and Ravens leaving Rice and Forte open I'd still get a stud back I need regardless. Wow, this is going to be a great offseason.
I think the system is flawed. I think we should set certain value based on the draft chart. Either way this year the Jets are going to kill FA because the system is flawed.
How? Because they can offer one franchised player a contract because they currently have three first round picks? If you're that worried about it, put the exclusive tag on Forte... you're saying it's flawed because it could negatively affect you (in your mind).
2 late round picks is rubbish value to a player like Mario Williams, Forte, Rice, Foster. No way in **** anyone hits on a player in that round that can equal the production of any of the players I named. Its a loophole. Trade down acquire Late firsts and get a HIGH quality player. Its a brilliant play but absolutely ****ty for the person losing that player.
Exactly it takes brains to get the most value you can for you picks and GML dollars. If I miss on one player I still got my options open, and like I said if I don't have to lose anything for Mario williams then have my picks still in my possession the better which means I get to keep the 1st and 3rd after losing my extra two 1sts for an elite back. Instead of losing all my picks on two players, I maximize it with two studs and two draft picks to fill my other needs. It's not like I'm the 1% cause we all are on the same footing and take the same route.
I''m just bringing up the point that not all first round picks are equal like they are treated for compensation. That's all I'm saying.
The reason why it's fair is because it gives everyone equal opportunity. Going off of draft value does not.
don't worry think of it like the stock market buck. Forte was drafted in the 3rd, now you get #28, #30 for him. See how your Forte Stock went up in value. That makes you the 1%, see being the 99% I think I deserve as much!

Only 1 running back can have the ball at a time. I don't get the big deal about having 2 stud RBs. You still have a fairy princess as a QB
maybe you run a two back set, move them to different positions over the field. Use one or two for a decoy. Why not have two dynamic players. Don't try and take this back to before the forward pass.

2 stud running backs, horrible QB....seems like your bringing things back to before the forward pass. 2 dynamic players are great, but the same position where only 1 can carry the ball at a time, it sorta cancels out.
Agreed. LOAD UP THE BOX! If Peterson can't run on 9 in the box what makes you think Foster, Forte/Rice can?
