She's the only thing worse than female commentators.

And strong effort by Cleveland (particularly Sessions and Jameson, and of course AV) with Kyrie out with a concussion. Now go trade Sessions for a 1st.

Who cares. All I know is that we're sitting here arguing about Kobe and LeBron when clearly Lin is a superior player to both of those scrubs. The Knicks have to be championship favorites now. All hail the Yellow Mamba.

    1) It was the Wizards.

    2) He's doing all this without Melo, so he's bound to "get worse" when Melo comes back.

Linsanity strikes again! Granted it was Washington but still a good game.

By the way, fwiw, the 8 turnovers that Lin had in the second half the other night vs utah...he was only the 2nd player all year to play the entire 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter of a game (45 minutes overall) and no one was helping.

Palmer is absolute worst. She pretty much needs to go back to the wnba where no one cares about officiating because no one watches

    correct

waived by GSW a few weeks ago. Ill have to speak to Speedy Claxton when I see him next since he works in GSW's front office :)

I can get the Knick game and isolate Lin. You guys want me to grade him based on a similar charting system that the Heat uses?

I am curious as all hell.

No need for all that nonsense. Just embrace the Yellow Mamba for the beast that he is. Sit there with your worthless LeBron and Wade and dream about what could of been.

I don't have the numbers, and honestly I don't know where to check. I always assumed Kobe was the better shooter between the two. What are the numbers?

I don't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head but basically, among players that average 25+ minutes per game, only Dirk shoots a higher percentage than Lebron from midrange.

I am currently scoring (charting) Jeremy Lin's last game.

As a rule...NBA average is a score of 1.5 to 2.0. All Star level performance is 4.25 and above. A score above 6 is a performance in the top 10% of performances by any individual in a NBA season.

    10-15 feet out: Kobe 47.3% LeBron 45.7%

    16-23 feet out: Kobe 44% LeBron 41%

LeBron is far superior to Kobe at the rim and 3-9 feet out.

Okay, Jeremy Lin's Offensive score for this last game was 5.4

    His Defensive Score was -2.93

His overall game score was 2.47

Which is a great score when playing against a top level PG. Is John Wall a top level PG this year?

I think Knick fans are just happy to win a game. Trade Melo bandwagon is in full effect.

    That's this year.

    Last year it was:
    Kobe 10-15: 51.5%, 16-23: 38%
    Lebron 10-15: 44.7%, 16-23: 45%

But those feet marks are arbitrary, so you have to define midrange as 10 to three point line: and in that case it was: Kobe 41.7% Lebron: 45.0%

I have a hard time considering anyone who averages 4 turnovers a game and shoots 41% from the field as top level. Wall needs some good coaching in the worst way. He's all athleticism, nothing else at this point. His fundamentals are awful.

The fact that more than 2 posts have been devoted to a basketball player from Harvard shows how New York-centric the media is.

Only someone who doesn't understand basketball would say trade melo. Only a moron coach tries to make Carmelo in to Lebron. Completely different players. Carmelo needs a PG to make him play within the offense and help ball movement. he should not be the primary ballhandler but that's how coach Pringles was rolling. Asking him to be the primary ballhandler has thrown his entire offhand off. His FG% is way down...

Boik setting aside all Blue and Orange goggles, Carmelo is an extreme talent but in my opinion will never be able to mesh well with other talented players and win a ring. If you can get decent value you trade him. I hope im wrong but can you really picture him EVER leading a team to the finals?

Is that from this year? I haven't checked for this year yet.

Where did you get those numbers from? I'm pretty sure that's the same thing I had found for my numbers but I don't remember the URL.
