Potentially, but, since we can essentially hoard as much salary and players as we want right now, why not just set them aside as "will cut when need to get under cap" on the off chance someone gives up something?
Because I already checked with just about every team? If no one is going to offer stuff and then hold it against you that theyre in a salary cap jam and cant take salary why not just be more straightforward instead of trying to bluff your way in to a bargain when its so blatantly obvious....?
