In Todd's defence, I was a pain in the ***. I absolutely did not want to trade him. I don't like trading my Raiders as boneheaded as they can be.

What do I think? Because you asked... :shifty:

Jax receives Peyton Manning and his $7m salary for 2nd round pick. I do think this is a relative steal for the Jags honestly. GIK normally doesn't make mistakes when he trades, he's a shrewd little GM normally. Here he rushed into a trade for really no reason. Manning's stock can go nothing but up and by the time this GML ends, we won't honestly know if Manning can play or not. But in the "real" NFL, he'll likely be signed by a new team. And if that new team happens to be "our" Dolphins, many will look at these Jags with envy. Anyone watching Jax last year should have noticed that Gabbert is not ready to be an NFL qb. He struggled mightily. Of course, he had nobody to throw the ball to. And Peyton might have a hard time with these receivers... although lets wait to see what the new GM can bring in.

Philly acquires LB Rolando McClain and a 5th from Oakland, for 2nd and 4th round picks Like this trade for the Eagles. Even though McClain has had some off field issues, he's still a studly beefcake. And I think he could be better served as a strong side backer if the Eagles stay with the 43 front.

Eagles and Jets swap high salary players. Asante Samuel for David Harris. Again, I think the Eagles come out the winner here. Harris is 28 and one of the best inside linebackers in the NFL. Asante is 31 and his best days are behind him. Now Philly can put Harris in the middle, McClain at SAM.

Oakland trades McFadden to Cleveland for 2nd and 5th round picks. McFadden was on his way to possibly breaking 2k this year before he got hurt. The guy is a stud IF he can stay healthy. And that's really it. A pretty even trade though. Hard to get a first round pick for an oft injured running back. You can really make a case that both teams won here. Cleveland clearly going in a new direction at tail back with the great white hope testing free agency.

Eagles acquire all pro Andre Johnson for a couple of scrubs, a ham sandwich, and some a used can of mystery ointment. David Maclin.... overrated. Riley Cooper... who? a 2nd and 3rd round pick. Seems every year Andre Johnson is traded for a bonanza... except this year. Not sure what our Texans GM was thinking here. Sorry E. My condolences.

Colts rape the Texans for Demeco Ryans... give up Angerererer, Blair White (?... a white receiver, this never ends well) and a fifth round pick (that could turn into the next Steve Largent). If the last trade wasn't enough, you go out and do this... AND TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF! Boy am I glad I'm not GM-ing this year. I'd be calling for a judicial review. Demeco Ryans is one of my favorite players in the league. Guy is a flat out stud. Pat Angerer is horrible (he makes tackles downfield....). Do I need to continue?

Jags acquire S Nate Allen for a 5th rounder... Another shrewd move for the Jags. I think Allen is solid. And for a 5th rounder, that's a steal IMO.

Vikes acquire S Jaiquawn Jarrett for a 6th rounder.... Alen jumps into the fray and gets a solid safety. One year removed from being a 2nd round pick. I've been a big fan of Jarrett's. And the Vikes have been looking for safety help for a while now. Another steal.

Jags trade Marcedes Lewis to Buffalo for a 3rd rounder.... Pretty nice move for Buffalo here. A potential all pro tight end for a 3rd round pick is solid. Fitzpatrick gets a nice big target to throw to, although rumor has it Todd is trading him for an abused moose that will fetch him beer.

Tampa Bay acquires Lance Briggs for Tanard Jackson and a 5th rounder. Solid move for the Bucs. Getting rid of a soon to be third striker in Jackson. Although Briggs is 31 and has a high salary.

Colts acquire Felix Jones for Jerraud Powers. Felix is a game changing running back. Powers played defense for the Colts last year. THOSE Colts.

Raiders get four draft picks (including a 1st) for Richard Seymour Play Less and Darrius Heyward-Bey (who never caught a ball he didn't like). Frankly think this is a steal for the Raiders. They dump salary. Dump Seymour, who makes some of the aged cheese in my fridge look fresh. yummm cheese....And the Raiders were dealt a missing deck in this year's draft... lets face it... to get back four picks is a nice haul. And their archrival helped them?? Only in the GML

Jags acquire Kyle MUFF Williams and a 3rd round pick for Clint This Court Is In Sessions. Now I generally like Clint. But I'm not sure what the 49ers are doing here. They have two of the best linebackers in the league in Pat Whatchoo Talking About Willis and Navarro Give Me My Bowman. I sure hope they aren't looking to trade one of them. You going to put Sessions on the outside? Not sure where he fits the 49ers defense honestly. Really hope the San Fran defense isn't being torn down... much like the Texans D, both of those units should stay intact... oops... Demeco Ryans... :pity:

Buffalo sends a 2nd rounder for Jacoby I wouldn't be caught dead in a Ford. Oh yeah porn was included as well. Which makes it even more of a steal for the Raiders. Sure Ford can run fast. But he's been injured. And you need to show me more than a receiver that can run fast for a 2nd round pick. Unless he happens to be white too, which case only Jimmy Johnson taking Larry Shannon and comparing him to Randy Moss will make me laugh harder. :pity:

If your trade wasn't mentioned it's either because I didn't care or thought it was relatively even. You make the call :shifty:

disclaimer... no midgets were hurt in the drafting of this news bulletin.

If Ford's healthy he can be worth that pick, especially at 490K..... and he fits in what I want to do on offense. Did you idiots not watch him torch the Dolphins in 2 aspects of the game? :tongue2:

Ford, Steve Johnson, Mercedes Lewis, Spiller, and Fred Jackson as offensive firepower? Jacoby added to those guys just made things a mess for defenses, so **** you all.

I greatly dislike injured guys, so that made it easier for me to part with them since I watch them all the time.

If I wasn't in cap hell, they likely are all still here.

McFoot has missed half of his games in his career. It was time for a change, especially when I needed a whole bunch of it.

McClain's great as long as you don't have him cover. I need my MIKE to cover. I'd have moved him to SAM or WILL, but, still making up for Al's ****.

Paul, no thoughts on Fin-O and mine's front page trade involving Chris Long? Pretty even?

Now I have a Dline of Long - Darreus - Kyle Williams - (some stud DE to be named later)

Seymour is an upgrade over Castillo and a needed addition to a thin defensive line. And Heyward-Bey is a younger and cheaper version of Malcolm Floyd with room to grow. His speed should work well with Rivers, who likes to throw downfield.

And FWIW I offered E a poopload more then that for Andre. I mean literally half my team. Would have had to take some salary but value was definitely there

If anyone wants a second (or even first) opinion on a trade, feel free to shoot me a PM. I've been asked to co GM this year by a few of you, but I'd rather not do that. Any contact with me will be kept completely top secret. Just think of me as a Ron Wolf / advisory consultant type...

have a fetish for female midgets. I was hoping not to make it public but whatever...something about short stumpy female legs just does it for me. I really love when their chest is longer then their arms...its almost like dribbling a basketball at that point. :)

I'm looking to make a splash in FA my objective was to unload some salary not take on more. Schaub is really the only main player I am still looking to unload, but I'll keep him if a deal isnt worth it. I traded AJ for two wr's who make under a mil. Same with Ryans, and I got three picks out of it.
