There's a foul every time anybody drives to the lane mostly. They could call it if they want. And they do sometimes, and don't others. The refs are incredibly inconsistent. But what gets me pissed, is when they call it one way for one team and a different way for the other, in the same game. Jrue Holiday initiated contact several times last night, no call. Chris Bosh bumps Lavoy Allen and throws the ball towards the hoop, foul. That would of been a technical on Bosh if the NBA implemented the great FIBA flop rule. You can't call something for one guy, and then not call it for another guy when it's the same exact thing.

 

He should take his talents to Broadway then.

 

It works. Refs are such ******* I guess that they allow players and coaches to dictate their officiating with a few tears. So you won't see coaches get too mad about it.

 

I wouldn't mind if the Sixers brought back Rasheed Wallace to fight the good fight with these floppers. He can't be any worse than Tony Battie anyways.

Although, I wonder if the NBA will do anything about these obvious acts of flopping.

Sixer fan complains about Whiners and Floppers...

Sixer fan wouldn't mind if they got one of the biggest whiners and floppers in NBA history.

 

Didn't the NBA place the tech foul rule based off Sheed? LOL

 

Was more a joke than anything. But I kind of liked Rasheed. Whining about the joke refs and their inconsistent refereeing and rewarding of flops > whining about fouls you didn't draw. If it wasn't for Rasheed, I'm not even sure if the NBA would ever have done the little they did to try and curb flopping by issuing fines (which I don't think they've ever given out one..).

 

Flopping is perfected at Duke.

Here's my personal favorite of all time though

 

That's a weak favorite of "all-time", considering that he did get hit and then flopped to sell it. That happens about 15 times in every NBA game.

 

That clip is hilarious and we all know it. The way he waited to see if it went in and then started clutching his eye. Brilliant. But I suppose that qualifies more as a whine than a flop even if he did fall the ground as if he had just been slapped with a brick.

You can't top the Paulus or Bosh flops, though this one comes close... Edit - Almost forgot the Shaq flop on Dwight. Quite ironic considering Shaq is one of the most vocal anti-flop guys.

flop is a funny word.

 

It's not even close as to how Lebron is fouled and nothing gets called. It's because it would be almost unfair, or boring to watch if they called a foul everytime his arms are hacked or a body is knocking him off balance. It's not even close to the rest of the NBA. It was the same when he was in Cleveland.

 

Yea, Lebron should easily lead the league in FTAs every year if all the calls were made.


On to other things however, go Kyrie! Keep making a case for an all-star appearance.

Well Its average, which is my whole point. He's not horrible. He's clearly inconsistent, but on some days he's fire off the bench.

 

Yes but considering he brings nothing else but scoring, and scores at an average to below average clip, yeah that's pretty bad.

 

JR Smith is just one of those players you can never imagine being on a championship caliber team.

 

Yea Smith is as bad as I make him out to be. 43% wouldn't be so bad if he brought something else to the table, but he doesn't. And my biggest gripe with Smith is, he's a thug and a team cancer. You can't win with a player like him.

 

Well deserved suspension. A very disgraceful act from Love.

 

Mike Brown suspended too. Sixers might lose this one without that dunce patrolling the sideline.
