How widespread is cheating in the NCAA?

Happens everywhere. Includes everything. Simple as that really. It's a reality we all have to accept at this point. It's never going to stop. It can't be stopped.

 

I can tell you it happens, and it happens all over the place. If you can think of what you might want in that situation, it has already been done and much, much more.

 

Houses, cash, cars, strippers, etc. have all been recent problems.

 

2 examples.

I am good friends with Jonathan Phillips, former kicker for univeristy of Florida. Has a couple rings, he had his kick blocked against ole miss at the end of the game (extra point) when Tebow did his little "you will never see a team play harder than we will" etc etc We were both seniors at Wellington High School in 2005, he went on a recruiting trip to Purdue. Now keep in mind, hes a kicker, and this is purdue. He had pictures in his hotel room of 5 different chicks, and he had the choice of whichever one he wanted to have that night when they returned from the strip club.

2. I played football at a SAC conference school in North Carolina, division 2. Saw multiple teammates juicing, coaches helping them get away with it during pee tests, and "stand in's" taking tests for the superstars, or writing papers for them if they didnt want to.

Quick answer: It's everywhere.

 

Cheating doesn't happen.

 

But seriously, I would say Bama has the dirtiest reputation.

 

Other than Ohio State people do it all the time...

I think it pretty much is everywhere to some degree or another. I don't think the Reggie Bush situation happens very much or even the Miami situation.

 

This is Indiana we're talking about here.

 

You do realize Reggie Bush got a good 2 or 3 times more money than all of Miami's players combined right? What Miami did is no more than what Alabama is getting away with right now with one of their boosters giving away free suits and ****, and the whole Trent Richardson thing. Not much different than OSU either.

 

I was taken to a strip club, and had as much beer as I wanted at 18 years old in Charlotte NC for a division 2 program. Believe me, its wide-spread!
