Oh..he's exciting, but extremely limited, and his game doesn't "win".

He cherry picks points, and has a poor offensive game.

I don't see what is wrong with what he said. Why is it so wrong to believe that dunk is better than Wade's or Lebron's?

That's a horrible case. You have this problem were you seem to think the entire world and God have a natural hatred against Miami. That isn't the case. His opinion is that Griffin's dunk was better than Wade's and James's dunk. That has nothing to do with the team and the hatred you think all mankind has against it.

    No.

If that were a midget dunking on a trash can, Firesole would have said that it was better than Wade' or James' dunk.

and yes...the vast majority of Non-Heat fans have a natural hatred against Miami.

He is not all flash. He rebounds, and is really good on the pick and roll. But his game is limited, and against good defenses, he often struggles.

I don't know what arguments you and Firesole have had in the past, so I'm not going to comment on that. I just think its's stupid how you think the world hates Miami and love bringing it up here every 10 minutes.

I agree with you James's dunk being better than Griffin's dunk, and this is coming from a Magic fan.

I agree that his game is limited, and he is raw. I'm still impressed with what he's done, though, and I would characterize him as a great player. If he improves his game, he'll jump into elite status, imo.

The world DOES hate Miami, and I DO NOT bring it up here every ten minutes. I brought it up when YOU brought it up. You seem to have a fixation on that in the last few posts. Not me.

well, I agree with all of that. But he will hurt them in a playoff series this year. IMO.

But in the future..he adds a jumper, and some offensive moves...then it's Love and Griffin and then everybody else.

    I would rate them:
    1. Wades dunk on Perkins...because hes 6'4" and threw it down with 2 hands on a much taller player
    2. Blakes dunk on Perkins...because being that far above the rim just is not something you see in games very often, if ever.
    3. Lebron's dunk on Lucas...because Lucas was completely unsuspecting and unlike the other two dunks not actually contesting the dunk. But this is still a sick dunk....

    it's really good.

Wade dunking on Jermaine Oneal when JO was at the height of his powers in the second round of the playoffs in 03-04...was pretty good as well.

Gonna try to put together a list...hold on...

I agree with your list. Cleveland, too. However, sometimes you exaggerate it and make it seem like everyone outside of Miami hates the Heat. I don't agree with that. Personally, I like Miami and want to see Lebron win a ring.

I would agree with this. You can also say ALL of Cleveland hates Miami or more specifically Lebron.

I would also say the big 3 brought the hate on themselves by acting extremely arrogant and basically declaring themselves the best thing since sliced bread. I think that took a lot of peoples opinions of Lebron and Bosh and turned them from neutral to poop. IMO, the best players accomplish the goal and then act more humbly then these guys did. But at the very least accomplish the goal first before bragging about it. I dont like when ANY player starts talking like theyve won something already which none of those guys have, except Wade.

I preferred Griffins dunk because to me it seemed of the 3 dunks we are comparing, the defender actually attempted to defend it. I discount Lebrons because the defender didn't even know he was cutting to the basket. Sure, it's impressive to jump over a guy, but to me it's more impressive to throw it down in someone's face who is tryin to block it.
That and I'm not sure it's easier to jump over a Kia than John Lucas.

It really has nothing to do with the Heat or my hatred for them. It's pretty disgusting even discussing basketball with such oversensitive Heat fans when your opinion isn't the same as theirs.

For the record, one of the best dunks I can recall is Jordan posterizing Ewing. That might be where the term "posterize" originated.

and the KJ dunk is the clear cut best dunk for two reasons.

    #1 Kevin Johnson is 6'-1".

#2 Hakeem Olajuwon is the best rim defender of all-time.

there is no other argument to be made. that's it.

That LeBron dunk has no business being in an NBA top 100 list let alone a top 5 list. Pippen on Ewing. Vince Carter's dunk on Mourning. Any of Vince Carter's dunks on Mourning really. Shawn Kemp on Alton Lister. Wade's dunk on Varejao. Tom Chambers on Mark Jackson. Kobe's dunk on Ben Wallace. Vince Carter on Tim Duncan. LeBron on Duncan. Shawn Kemps dunks on Kenny Walker and Mike Smrek. These are just off the top of my head too.

Edit - Almost forgot K-Mart on Jermaine O'Neal. Probably the most underrated dunk ever for me. This is what a poster is supposed to look like. Both hands. Going through the shotblocker.

First off..Vince Carter rarely ever got ZO, because he was afraid of him. he did get him good that once though.

But if you look at my list...3 of them are from hotly contested playoff series on pivotal plays against great competition, vs. great defenses.

The Lebron James dunk is in there because it was versus what is still till this day, the best statistical defense of all-time, on the Defensive player of the Year in a Game to tie up a EC Semi-Final series as a severe underdog.
