http://www.miamidolphins.com/news/a...-Coaches/30aab8fc-7bc4-48d2-ab99-08a34429e99c George Edwards is the linebacker coach. He used to be a coach for the Dolphins, he was a Bill last year. Former President of the United States Zac Taylor was hired as assistant quarterback coach. He comes from Texas A&M. Also makes me wonder who is the actual quarterback coach. Tight ends coach Dan Campbell, strength coach Darren Krein and special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi have been retained. I am really happy about Rizzi since the special teams last year on Miami was actually good for the first time since Westoff.
Just an FYI....Taylor is married to Sherman's daughter and was in on developing Tannehill through his work at TAMU
Just pray we do not somehow hire Steve Loney as the offensive line coach. I was hoping we could get Paul Boudreau from Atlanta but the Rams signed him, smart move. Steve Loney was the Rams Oline coach and took over for Boudreau when they cleaned house up there and hired Linehan lips as their HC. Since Loney has been there their Oline has gone from decent to one of the worst in the NFL. PLEASE JEFF IRELAND, SAY NO TO STEVE LONEY.
i don't want Tannehill unless hes drafted in the 3rd or 4th round and we sign Flynn... Hes a project and wasn't all that in his one good year.. 29 TD 15 INT ...
Next good move would be to give Bryan Cox a bus ticket out of Davie. Worst example of a coach I have seen in a long time.
I pray we keep Moore. The kid did pretty decent once he settle in. Flynn is not a drop dead guaranteed franchise QB. Like the guy a lot but 2 or 3 good games does not make him a franchise QB IMO. Kevin Kolb proved that point. Cardinals paid him a Kings ransom and their 4th string QB , Skelton played circles around Kolb.
Taylor played at Nebraska the last years before Bill Calahan got run out of town by the boosters. Kid did pretty decent.
Not to be rude, but I know.....just didn't feel it was relevant to the thread. I had the pleasure of seeing about 5 of his games in Lincoln, kid was a gamer. He did everything he was asked to do. Made great reads, was a field general. And there is way more to the Callahan firing than the boosters. PM if you want details.
did we have a top 15 oline back in 2002 ? I like Paul Borderaux when he was the oline coach after Wanny fired him our entire Offensive line became a ten year problem or it just seems that way. who is the wr coach ?
Tippecanoe was William Henry Harrison. Tyler was his VP and became president after Harrison died in office a few weeks after his inauguration.
When the entire 5 were healthy I'd say we did. Dixon was usually playing through some nagging injury, but the only good LT we had between Webb and Long. Nails was a stud that year before the Achilles tear. I think that may have been the one year Ruddy was a Pro Bowl alternate. Perry and Wade on the right side were solid run blockers.
