Yes. The rest of your post is pointless. If you don't see how making jokes about a tragic death is low class then you really are low class. I thought you were better than that. Maybe I was wrong.

We should trade Marshall NOW and move up to get RGIII. His value will never be higher.

Might as well go after Luck if you want to trade Marshall.

I don't think there is one person here that would argue your point but the issue is does that make it right for team mates to coast or or give less than effort? BM is a top tier talent in the NFL, few would argue that, but geeze is he only going to give PB effort when surrounded by PB talent? then good luck there. Last I knew you became a PB player by your performance during the regular season...

If it is much better than an 87.1 passer rating overall and a 98 passer rating over his final 9 games, then he would be elite and not just very good.

They would have scored more touchdowns if that so called #1 wide receiver who runs his mouth better than he plays didn't drop 6 touchdown passes on the year that hit him right in the hands.

Leave it to Dolphins fans to finally have an elite WR and continually ***** that he's not better.

Steve Smith had 21 receptions for 276 yards and 2 TDs with Matt Moore at quarterback. That is 13.14 YPC and 1 TD for every 10.5 receptions.

With Jimmy Clausen at quarterback, through the 10 games that he played the majority of, he had 25 receptions for 278 yards and 0 TDs. That is 11.12 YPC. He averaged 5.25 receptions per game with Matt Moore and 2.5 receptions per game with Jimmy Clausen. So, Matt Moore wasn't the reason for Steve Smith's down year.

Elite wide receivers don't drop 6 touchdown passes. They come through in the clutch.

That is what an elite receiver looks like. 1600+ yards and 16 TD receptions.

Funny thing about "elite" receivers. They often have elite or very good QBs throwing them the ball. How did Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark do this year?

I was under the impression that Brandon was regarded as having a massive amount of dedication to his craft, and this dedication is significantly responsible for turning his mid-round draft status into one of the league's premier players?

Death would be even more tragic if it weren't met with some degree of lightheartedness & humor. Would you laugh at humor at his expense when he was alive? Do you laugh at humor at anyone's expense?

    5 years have passed, Trowa.

If you'd like to completely avoid the label of "discriminator", then you should probably avoid all types of humor at anyone's expense b/c that would mean you show them more respect posthumously than you do while they're alive, which is absurd and disrespectful in itself.

Sorry, but I'd rather be more respected when I'm actually aware of it than when deceased, and since I have no problems with people getting a laugh at my expense (I'm currently doing a good job of it in the GM league) then I definitely don't have a problem with people treating me the same when I'm dead.

    A few things:
    1. Wasn't Smith also less than 100%?
    2. Wasn't the offense around Smith also injury- plagued?
    3. Outside of the QB position, the offense lacked 2 significant additions, Olsen & Shockey, (to a team frequently using 2 TE sets) who's presence opens up greater opportunities for Smith.

I'm not taking a side, just stating some facts.
    Carry on. lol.

Funny thing about "elite" QBs. They often have elite or very good WRs to throw the ball to. How did Manning do without Clark, Collie, and Gonzalez in 2010 (and with a regressing Charlie Johnson at LT who was subsequently replaced with a 1st round draft pick b/c of the position's importance)? :tongue2:

That wasn't the point. You asked what Matt Moore's numbers would look like with a #1 receiver who caught TD's. Matt Moore's always had a #1 receiver. Here's the link to his stats:

Where was this puke when the games really counted? Pro Bowl MVP ...... please it seemed like a sandlot flag game even the fans at the game were booing within the first 5 minutes.

As for being a great teammate, way to go throwing your team mate under the bus, I hope Joe Philbin's first order of business is to cut this glory stat seeking jerk!:pity:

IMO elite WRs will sustain a higher level of productiveness with inferior QB play than a QB will sustain with an inferior level of WR play.

Larry Fitz has still had 2 1100+ receiving seasons with 14 TDs including the 2nd highest yardage season of his career with poor 2010 & 11 QB play.

Megatron had 1300+ yards and 13 TDs with a mix of Culpepper, Orlovsky, and Kitna in 2008....
.....and then 1100+ yards & 12 TDs with 13 games with Shaun Hill & Drew Stanton in 2010.

Brandon Lloyd had 1400+ yards and 11 TDs with Orton & Tebow.
Dwayne Bowe has 2300 yards & 20 TDs in 2 seasons despite no franchise QB.

However, when you replace half of Peyton Manning's starting targets (including 2 of his 3 go-to guys) with lesser talent & inexperience, he throws like 13 picks in 5 games and loses them all IIRC.

Yea, and Chad Henne has been better than Moore.

You're losing a lot of credibility. You speak with feelings rather than actual facts.

With an elite Qb throwing to him he catches at least 3 of those phantom drops you're counting.

He was recognized by his peers, fans and coaches for being a superior talent. If you really think 90 catches for 6 td's a PB season. your reputation is earned in the regular season if you wish to split hairs. I have not said he was not a superior talent, I have said he has not given his all to this team and it appears that his reason is not having an elite QB lobbing passes at him. IMO if he gave half the effort he showed in the PB then he would have certainly earned his place in that game.

Having an elite Qb can make the good Wr's better. This is not usually the case for having an elite Wr and a Chad Henne

Miami spent two second round picks on a glory seeking, mouth running, woman beating receiver who will never live up to the cost that was given up for him. He drops as many touchdowns as he catches. Deal with it!

I see. Because it is Matt Moore that is hitting him right in the hands with the ball, it is OK if he drops it. But if an elite quarterback is throwing him the ball that hits him in the hands, he will catch it. Gotcha!
