well, tonight I may have to officially turn in my man card. I'm seriously considering buying a Toyota Prius tonight. I'm driving a Dodge Nitro right now and it's costing me almost $70 to fill it up. I have to fill it up twice a week to go back and forth to work, so it's basically costing me over $400 in gas a month. I drive about 35 miles one way each day to work. So now there are 2 questions. How should I feel about driving a chick car? What color do i get? LOL. I hate my life
I can't ride the bike every day. It's down right now anyways. I've got a paint problem and it needs 2 new tires. Stupid Dunlop's only lasted 7k miles.
Might as well just check your genetalia at the door when turning in the man-card... BTW: While your going out on "That" limb, might as well get hot-pink
Woah bro, you dont have to buy a Prius to save money on gas. And secondly pink. Pink is the color of dress you should buy after purchasing that car.
Not to mention the pink dress will go nicely with the Pink Prius....which is the ONLY color that anti-masculine puss-mobile should be offered in...
IMO do what you have to do to save on gas. The government gets enough of our money as it is. I have a Rodeo (can't sell or trade it) and hardly go anywhere except church and to get a few groceries(their to high to). Other than that my car just sits.
The wife is forcing me to do this. I've tried to talk her into letting me get a hybrid SUV but she ain't having that!
I've got a mountain bike for work. I plan on getting a new (at least new to me) car hopefully at the end of July.
well I can't do the mountain bike to work thing. 1. I'd have to leave the house around 4AM everyday then I'd get home around 9 or 10PM. 2. I think they frown upon riding a bicycle on the Florida Turnpike. 3. I'm sure my *** wouldn't be able to take the pain. 4. Even if I had yellow LIVESTRONG bracelets coming out of my rear, there's no way I could ride 35 miles one way everyday.
Sorry, might wanna go for one of those HE-SHE operations in this case...oh, and you can wear a Blue Dress
I have 3 actually. They said since they gave you one they have to give everyone else 3..... bad question.
sweet while I'm chilling, you can explain to your wife how her heat was shut off so you can feel like a man.
to show my man rank. lucky manlyness >>> l2gs >>> firesole because his wifes MAKING him buy a prius hahahahahahahahha
Hell, I rode my Mountain Bike to the bank today to save money. Saving money is nothing to hand in your man card in for. Of course unless the car is yellow or Hot pink!
Hey eff you buddy! I wear the pants in the family for sure. But I want hers to come off now and then if you know what I mean.
Your ranking is a little skewed. L2G > Lucky Your man rank is somewhere between Paul Lynde and Dame Edna. I didn't want to make fun of the guy, but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
An older model Jetta Diesel 2000 - 2003 will get just as good if not better mileage than the Prius, and is slightly less girly and will cost you much less. I had a 2003 and once got 700 miles on a tank of fuel. All highway driving. 600 miles on a tank was completely normal though. Only problem is Diesel fuel is expensive.
why would I consider buying anything that ran on diesel? Have you seen the cost of Diesel gas lately?
Well you don't sound too convincing. If you truly wear the pants in your marriage, you'll go home and march into that house and tell your wife that making a decision on what vehicle to buy is a mans job. Tell her that it's your money, you are the one going to work everyday bustin your backside and YOU will decide what truck and/or motorcycle you are going to buy. Tell her if she wants to make a decision that she should shake it on into the kitchen and decide if she's making you macaroni salad or potato salad to go along with your steak and baked potato. And if she doesn't like it, tell her that she can hit the road and that you should have married her sister instead. Be a man!!! Then come back tomorrow and tell us what color Prius you''re buying your exwife
BOOYAH! I bought a Dodge Nitro a month ago. I love that car. I just absolutely LOVE that car. I am rubbing my nipples right now as I just think about it parked outside. Buying a prius is definately a ***** move.
BTW..the new Chevy Malibu is gorgeous and does great on the mileage. They are 22k+ MSRP depending on the options right now...wait a year and you can get a nice used one for around 16k. That is value.
that's what's killing me right now. I love my car. If I was driving a friggin F150 or something then this wouldn't be so hard on me.
Dude I wear the pants in the house, but I'm not a ****ing fool. I already have a great wife that makes me lunch and dinner every single day of the week, she puts out at least 2 times a week (after 10 years) and she has a job! I can easily say no to the Prius (hell I've been doing it for the last 2 months) but I can't keep saying no when I know something will have to go. To me it's much easier to drive a chick car then to not get any more poon, home cooked food, dishes done, laundry done, I get to go out whenever I want, etc, etc, etc. I think I'm making the safe bet, the bet that is surely to pay out more in the long run. So what, I have to drive a ***** car for the next 2-3 years until some cool hybrids come out. At least I still have my bike, and that's whats reallyt important! Besides I can't stand her sister!
