You gotta be careful with the compressed schedule..but certain strategies still apply. cough cough cough.....Golden State 99 Chicago Bulls 91 one more time, in case nobody has seen it before. Teams out west from the eastern conference on the second of a back to back....FREE MONEY. Then you have the other massive trend. When that team from the East, gets on a plane to go back east, but does not land at home.. (Denver, OKC, Minnesota) You hit them again. quick tutorial..and we are following around Chicago: Thursday, they are at Sac. You pass. The next night, they are at LAC. You send it in on LAC. The Bulls then go home after that, so you can;t take advantage of the mid country stop.
Well I mistakingly played Chicago.... Other plays were N.O, Golden State....Aaaaaaaand Portland. No east teams out west tonight but the Lakers are playing again and I'm 0-2 betting with and against them in 2 days, so I doubt I play them tonight. I really like Portland again but they burned me last night so I might just stick to NcaaBB and bowl games for tonight.
Golden State last night was the best play on the docket..and all the "matchup" people would have said..."The Warriors suck...The Bulls are good..what are you doing"? What I am doing, is reading a schedule, and playing a very strong trend that is a couple of decades old.. quick perusal of the Sked: Shows some B2B teams, but none too vulnerable. next trend play is the Bulls at Clippers on the 30th. Take the Clips.
Oh, and it applies for west teams going east as well, but in the NBA, it is more common for the east teams to have longer west coast trips, and more B2B's.
Miracle that books never adjust the lines to discourage the east coast team on a B2B on the west coast trend. Knicks getting pounded now by the Lakers. Took the Lakers for a mediocre amount, because the Lakers scare me. I should have just had faith in the trend.
Here are my plays... Lines are with my local. BYU+3 BYU under 61 Rutgers+2 Rutgers Under 46 Wake/miss st under 48.5 Oklahoma Over 58
I wonder if a lot of that 24% is young teams who fatigue less easier....Bulls turned my great day into a good day. I will still take that trend anytime I see it though. Especially once a team like Boston hits the west coast.
Also playing Utah+2 Illinois -2.5 Illinois Under 46 ...Vandy, Cinncy is giving me some trouble...may just play a total.
Not really. Heat were winless against that trend last year 0-2,and 0-1 versus the (come back home and stop midcountry game), so 0-3 overall. Lakers going east were 1-2. Bulls last year, because of the circus stand (circus rents out United center for November), only had one such game and they were 0-1. Want the stongest trend in the NBA? Last 7 years. Teams from the East, that finish their west coast stands by stopping in Denver to play the Nuggets before they go back east... (teams that qualify: Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Boston, New York, New Jersey, Orlando) are 1-38 straight up. they are 2-37 ATS. The Nuggets destroy everybody that comes back east through there.
Nothing like starting off 5-0 in bowls, then losing my next 4! Split NBA, thank you NY....and what's up with Pacers? Losses vs Cle then Detroit??? Too much juice in my cup yesterday. After a very nice Friday. Question is who cares and who doesn't? Hard thing to predict. Minnesota -2 over Chicago Skins +8 over Philly K.C +3 over Denver GL.
24-26-2...Stupid Titans losing by .5 point. It was Jake Delhomme! Really liking Houston -7 today. Penn St QB is probably out.
