The greatest part of lying and backstabbing Brandon, is that you could tell him that it was an act from god and that god wouldn't want it any other way, and he would believe you.

Brandon is the dumbest SOB to ever play the game. That was an even bigger boneheaded move than when James got axed with 2 immunity idols in his pocket.
Sometimes, I think some of this stuff has to be scripted! ;)

I'm always struck by how people seem to be highly religious on this show and wonder if they weren't in this situation, would they pray everyday like that? Clearly Brandon and Coach I can see... but the other three?

At least we're not simultaneously hearing about how Brandon is secretly a genius like we did with Cochran.

I think the other three are just going along with the praying. Sophie rolls her eyes almost every time Coach or Brandon talks about their faith.

I'm happy Sophie won. She was the only likeable player in the final 4 imo.

And wtf is up with next season? One world? Can we just go back to normal Survivor?

    No Redemption Island
No living on the same island stuff.

Yeah me too... thought she deserved to win after beating Ozzy when nobody else could. Agree about the return to regular Survivor. I mean is the show struggling in ratings? Seems that way...

I thought Coach screwed up by getting rid of Rick instead of Sophie. It seemed obvious to me, but apparently only Ozzie had figured it out. Albert saw it, but again lacked the conviction to actually make the move. And Albert really over-estimated the opinion people had of him.

As for next season, it could be a unique dynamic with players figuring out how to build relationships with both tribes without alienating their own tribe.

Of the 3, yes. Ozzy was oh so close tho!

But then Coach would have still lost after Ozzy made the finals. The jury was loaded with his old tribesmates.

That's a good point. But strategically you had to get rid of Sophie when you had the chance. The odds of her beating Ozzy were small anyways. She beat the odds, but we only know that in hindsight. The smarter move at the time was to play the odds.
