No you just saw why we should have kept Polite at FB. You want to have a more flexible H-Back type you find room on the roster. You dont cut your best run blocker and short yardage runner. Another brilliant move by this staff.

Brian Daboll should be questioned on those last two plays. Why didn't he run that play on 3rd down.

On watching the replay I agree, but you also have to remember that isnt the play he would have been running. It would have been a quick hitter and Polite was an expert at slicing into a little hole for a few yards.

 

If your guards don't push, how does anyone go forward?
